I feel like this brand is definitely an acquired taste, and it was not the right fit for me, I would say it would be better if it was a little bit more sweet. It was my first time trying this wine with my friends and it was not what I was expecting. I feel like if you have a more matured palette, then you might enjoy it, but I do gravitate towards the sweeter side.

So I was at a friends house and they served this wine. I was so distracted by how excellent it was that I briefly forgot to talk to people. It's definitely a full bodied, juicy wine. I had to hunt down the host to find out what it was. I have now bought and served it several times and everybody enjoys it

Such an amazing wine with lush dark fruits and smooth finish. Pairs well with most foods and price point is just right. I never get a headache drinking this wine. Classic and will definitely be purchasing more of this bottle! Great wine to bring to a nice dinner party as well.

I can't say good enough things about the prisoner wines. They are our favorites. The cab is my very favorite. It is a full bodied delicious red. I love drinking it with a nice steak dinner. It's a bit pricey but well worth it. I would recommended this Cab to anyone and everyone!

Solid basic wine. Nothing fancy to it, but that's what I enjoy. Not too dry either, in case that is what you are looking for. I haven't tried much else of this brand, but would be willing to based on the taste profile of this cabernet. Will try again.

It is a little on the heavy side but most reds are... it has a really good taste. It's definitely affordable if you drink wine a couple times a week. The only think I don't like about it is that it does not seem to stay fresh for very long even with re inserting the cork screw.

i've always been a HUGE fan of the prisoner cab. it's so underrated, which i guess is good for me so it's in stock lol. i would compare this to any of the less expensive silver oaks out there. it's pretty affordable and a great bottle to bring to a party

For the price : meh. The bottle itself is what really sold me. Gave me a good giggle. Great marketing for mediocre wine. Pretty standard flavor and hard to specifically identify if compared to other main line vineyards. The Prisoner Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a nice red wine. It's strong and bold and I would compare it to some more expensive wines It doesn't have a bitter taste. It's medium bodied and had a dry feeling. It's a nice wine if you're just starting off with Cabernet

This was a good, moderately priced Cab. We had it with New York strips with roasted root vegetables. It was a good pairing and we drank the bottle with a little aged cheddar to finish.
