SunnyD Tangy Original is one of those drinks that works for a variety of things in our house. The 1-gallon size is especially nice because we go through enough of it that having a larger container makes more sense than constantly picking up smaller bottles. Of course, it's easy to pour a glass and drink it cold, but I also like having SunnyD available for different uses. It's great with breakfast, works as a refreshing drink with lunch or dinner, and is an easy option when someone wants something fruity and sweet. The tangy citrus flavor is what makes SunnyD different from a lot of other fruit drinks. It's sweet, but it also has that little bit of tanginess that keeps it from tasting completely flat. Served cold, it's especially refreshing. I also like using it when I'm making drinks for the family because it gives me another flavor option besides soda or plain water. With a gallon in the refrigerator, there's enough for everyone to have some without the container disappearing after only a couple of glasses. The gallon size is definitely the part I appreciate most. It's a practical size for a household that actually drinks it, and the larger container means I don't have to keep replacing individual bottles. SunnyD Tangy Original has earned its spot in our refrigerator because it's versatile enough for different meals, snacks, and just grabbing a cold glass when you want something sweet and fruity. The 1-gallon size makes it especially convenient for keeping plenty on hand.

Yah yah No its not good for me, sugar, blah blah. I cannot drink real orange juice, way too sour for my stomach. I love Sunny D. It is tart but does not have that extreme sour taste. And, of course, the smooth version is less sour. So refreshing!

I always looked at SunnyD as a 'kids drink' in the past (up until a few years ago) before randomly comparing a leading brand orange juice to SunnyD and (to my surprise) found that SunnyD actually had a little less sugar/calories per serving than the 100% orange juice. I've been drinking it ever since and while it is a majority orange juice it contains plenty of other fruit juices as well giving a more balanced (and less acidic) taste in my opinion while getting the same 100% DV Vitamin C. I fully recommend SunnyD as a substitute for orange juice -- regardless of your age.

This is a staple in our home and everyone prefers it to other orange juice type drinks. It has a sweetness with a hint of the tart, has a smooth mouth feel, and no grainy particles. For those that like a cocktail now and then, we found that adding a couple of shots of Pinnacle Cream Vodka makes a drink that tastes exactly like an orange CREAMSICLE with a little "extra kick." Try it !

Pulp free. Has an excellent refreshing orange taste which comes directly from the fruit. This has a slightly tangy bite whereas the smooth brand does not.

I really like this juice for the flavor and it reads out well, like it’s good for me. I do wish I could find it in a size half as large. I find it heavy to pour. They have smaller ones and I can’t get out often. Recommend getting this product

Sunny D is great in small quantities. It is really sweet so you have to limit kids and have them brush their teeth after drinking this (just like with any super sweet cola etc.) It is a tasty way to get a little vitamin C. It will quench your thirst on a hot day.

I like Sunny Dee tangy original orange juice. But, I find the gallon size container is most inconvenient. It doesn't fit on any shelf in my refrigerator. I must pour it into 3 smaller empty water bottles. Messy, wasteful task. Please resume carrying the product in the 64 ounce size.

I only needed a quarter to a half of the size I bought. I prefer the individual small containers and got the gallon jug on a whim which I regret because I can't drink enough of it to keep it from spoiling before I can finish it.
