I already have 2 of these Free Country Soft shell jackets I have been wearing for over 15 years. They look nice and last forever. They are both thick and warm and I can wear them down to about 30 degrees. Both are also medium. The latest jacket was a bit large on me so I ordered this one in a small. The small is the same size as my previous medium and so It is way too big. I am a size 38 chest and 32 waist and the small doesn't fit. Also, this jacket is half the weight of the other 2 and not nearly as thick. I feel completely ripped off. There is a tag on the side of the jacket that states "Wind Breaker". But, wind breaker is nowhere in the listing. It is a nice jacket and will last a long time but I was expecting a small and a heavier jacket. Buyer beware. Very disappointed.

These Free Country softshell jackets are great... but warning. If you've purchased them in prior years, you will likely have to go up one size this year. The new jackets have an additional warm lining in them that takes up quite a bit of room. I usually wear a L and the jacket fits great. This year I had to go up to an XL because the L was far too tight. My L from last year still fits perfectly, so I know I didn't grow one size!

It's not too heavy, offers great wind and water resistance, fits really well and looks stylish. I do wish the cuffs had an adjustable closure but that's more of a minor gripe. Overall I'm really happy with this jacket and would definitely recommend it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jacket fits well and appears to be made well. Lacking interior pockets but I knew before I purchased. I had it embroidered and I am not impressed with how it turned out. Letters seems to be too big compared to the logo on the opposite side. Im already thinking about covering it up with a patch or something. In short, time will tell how it holds up.
