[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my new planter. It is a 26 x 16 tall planter. It is very sturdy without being to heavy. I put my garden soil in and then my plants. I then watered and the best part is it has a water reservoir I filled up so it well self water. Which is nice if I happen to forget. The size is really nice. I can not wait for my plants to grow and fill this up. I think it is going to look really nice when full and overflowing with flowers. Will be getting some more planters like this. It looks nice and helps when self waters. I am very pleased with this pot.

It has a hole in the top of the side wall that is like a water reservoir and it has holes in the bottom so the plant doesn't hold too much water and it can drain. That's a huge bonus when your kids always want to help water the plants. I'm excited to see how my tomatoes grow over time.

It’s a great lightweight plastic with a shallow well so you don’t have to add as much dirt to the bottom, it has drain holes so water doesn’t flood my flowers after a heavy rain! There is also a well to add water or sand to the pot to prevent from tipping or being knocked over!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This self watering planter its height makes quite a statement , it goes great at the front door and would be good enough quality to use at a store entrance. Its very heavy duty thick plastic, less need to worry about it being blown over. It has a space of 12" deep for a plant , and additional 3" deep drain and water area. it fits a 12" drop in pot well , its hollow on the bottom so I ended up placing mine over a rock to ensure its stability in heavy wind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mayne Caprio 26in x 16in Tall Planter in Black is a nice planter. The 16 inches is the diameter and the 26 inches is the height. The design is modern and sleek as it is simply a round container lacking decoration that goes from 16 in diameter to a slightly smaller diameter at the bottom so its not a boring cylinder or can shaped, but still has simple and elegant lines. What I really like about this planter is the double wall style. You can fill it with water from a capped location at the top - so filling is super easy and it has an internal drain so you can't overfill it. The weight of water keeps the planter from being top heavy and the water comes to the root line of your planter so once your plants are matured, they can get water at the root line. You can add water at any time from the plugged top to refill that bottom reservoir. This is extremely light to carry prior to water and soil, but nice and heavy once they are added so be sure to put it where you want it prior to filling. That is one of the greatest things about this planter, the fact that it arrives light and can be easily moved empty but becomes a very sturdy, formidably heavy planter once the water is added. I really can not find any drawbacks for this item. 5 stars for ease of set up, ease of use and style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am pretty happy with the Mayne Caprio planter. It is 26 inches x 16 inches so it’s a really good sized planter! The inside of the planter goes about halfway down the 26 inch height of it, so you will need to fill that much of it with potting soil. The instructions were pretty vague and it would have been nice if it would have given a suggested amount of potting soil needed to fill the planter. There’s also a pretty big hole in the middle of the planter that I’ve had some trouble with the potting soil falling out as I’m filling it up. I love that it has a water reserve built into the planter, which is easy to access from the top edge of the planter. The planter design is very simple yet beautiful. The black color is a nice, crisp black and the texture just adds a little character to it. The planter is made with a heavy duty plastic that I think will hold up well over time. It isn’t super heavy and was easy for me to carry outside and place it where I wanted it without any help. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a simple yet modern planter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mayne Caprio tall planter ships in one piece. No assembly of any parts is needed. The black tall planter adds a modern style to our porch. The sleek, tall, slim design is eye catching and complements most home colors. We live in a long short house and adding a tall vertical planter really took the curb appeal up a few notches. Best of all this planter not only looks stylish it also is sturdy, durable and has its own watering system. One of my concerns with choosing the 26in planter was that it would constantly be tipping over from gusts of wind. I was wrong. This planter is sturdy on it’s own even before adding water and soil. The type of plastic it is made of is also strong and durable. The edges are thick and substantial. This is not a thin old-fashioned planter in any way. It is made very well and looks expensive. The most unique aspect is the watering system that is built into the planter. Be sure to have a look at the directions that come with the planter. I would have never known the small capped hole on the top of the planter was for watering if I had not glanced at the directions. Basically, the top half of the planter is for soil and the bottom half is for water. You add water to the capped hole in the top and it flows to the bottom of the pot to keep your flowers moist. I absolutely love this feature as I’m the type who likes to plant flowers and let the rain take care of them. This planter is under part of the roof so the self-watering feature is perfect. I can’t wait to see this planter in full bloom!
