The trimmer line is terrific and the absorbency factor is reassuring. The general softness of the product is great, although creates a problem (see below). Silhouettes would get a 5 star rating from me except for two major issues: 1) The design of the brief. It rolls down at the front. The S/M regular Depends never did that. In our household, the product is used for a petite person (4'8") who weighs well under 100 pounds. If she needs to move up to L/XL, I should hate to think what a 5'5" curvy woman would do. Also the crotch. It's a little too narrow. We have experienced just a little seepage, which is too much. Again, I emphasize that the user is petite. (The regular Depends were a little too wide in the crotch.) 2) The material: As I read in an earlier review and I agree completely, it is simply too fragile and rips very easily. Many people who use this product are not as deft or dexterous as they once were. I look forward to seeing improvements made without a major rise in price. Also, would I recommend the product? It depends. There's not a yes or no answer to this question.

I got xl without realizing they were for the weight they were but once tried on they fit pretty well. The pad is just a bit thicker than I'd prefer and I think the fabric used would be very noticeable that they aren't actual underwear.

The colors are pleasing not flashy. I would recommend this product to men if they needed it. Very comfortable.

The Silhouette brand was not as good as depends. My mother put her hand through them each time she tried to pull them up. They also were not good for overnight. They cost more than depends and in our opinion a cheaper made product. We would not buy them again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first saw them I thought they were to big but as soon as I tried them I I was wrong. They fit just as good as my regular underwear. They felt light and fresh, my uniform pants felt the Same no difference. I'm going to definitely recommend this product to a few family and friends that have the same problem as I do.

I have CKD IV, so my bladder is NOT dependable, to say the least. I wore a pair of Silhouettes to a PAC performance last nite. It did its job in line at intermission. When I got home, I decided to test it, since it only stopped a SMALL accident from becoming a BIG embarassment (rather than absorbing an entire bladder's worth). I finally quit pouring water into it when its weight reached 18.65 oz. (still hadn't leaked AT ALL!). Then I weighed a new pair from the same box, it came in at 2.10 oz. I'm sure the other pair still would've held more, even though I stopped pouring. Granted, my experiment was by no means run under strict lab guidelines, but it was more than enough to con- vince me (a born skeptic) to put my trust unhesitatingly in Silhouettes. (I can't imagine having to void that amount before reaching the facilities, but in any case, by having Silhouettes available, you don't have to worry about it.) And as far as I'm concerned, I've PROVEN that FACT, at least, to MY (the born skeptic, remember) satisfaction. Plus, you get the added bonus of these briefs feeling like regular undies instead of a bath towel between your legs! I can wear a pair all day, provided the facilities are within "reach", and they're still in "good shape" and doing their job, when it's time to change at the end of the day. They not only FEEL like regular undies, they show--AHEM!--DON'T SHOW--like good quality, regular undies! Kimberly-Clark can pat itself on the back for THAT one without fear of being conceited, I'd say. Personally, I like the fact that they separated the L and XL sizes. I wear the L, and for me it's pretty close for the waist and weight (though I'm a bit on the lower side of them, I'm still in the range) But the pant size given is 18-28W & I don't know wha' hoppen, but I wear a size 14 regular jeans! and they're none too tight! HOWEVER, this is NOT a complaint. It's just more of a cautionary statement, because the L fits me fine. I wouldn't want to go down to the M even though I only miss fitting into the waist category there. I also agree with many other of your review-writing customers please re-introduce and/or introduce some more color choices! Even incontinence underwear should be fun and pretty! Or we should at least have the option.

I wore your Silhouette Active wear moderate protection for years and they were great. You have discontinued them so I thought I would try your new Silhouette's. They only come in maximum protection. Not every one needs maximum protection. There is too much material in the crotch, it feels like a wade of material in the crotch, especially when sitting down. You are now forcing me to buy another brand.
