This is compact but on the heavy side. I have an $80 director chair that is 3 lbs. You don't have an option to fold the table down when the chair is transformed- the table will always open when in chair mode.

I bought thi's a couple of weeks ago and it is harder than I expected it to be to set it up. Also the table cannot be folded down when it is not needed. Not my best pic.

Bought the chairs to replace the ones we used for camping. By the way the old chairs were also purchased from Sam's Club and lasted 15 years. These look like they will last every bit as long.

I bought this and am happy I did. Only problem is that it is harder than expected to assemble. I had to turn it upside down to get it to lock into place

Only used it a couple times, comfortable. Folds up compactly compared to others, easily fit a couple into my small sports car. Seems to be sturdy. A little heavy if you have to carry a distance, but that is part of the sturdiness. Setup/takedown is easy.

Perfect camp chairs. They do not take up a lot of room in the storage compartment of our camper and they are so comfy! My favorite feature is the padding on the arms. Goes all the way down the metal arm so it isn't always moving around like on most chairs.

I purchased two of these chairs a month ago, had so many compliments on them. Very sturdy and the fold down carrying feature is a bonus. I ordered two for my daughter per her birthday request and purchased two additional chairs for our backyard party coming up.

I was looking for something sturdy and compact, ran across these, so happy I did. I actually hope to buy three more. I love the ease in folding and carrying. They are comfortable and should not sink in soft ground like the four legged fold up chairs.

My husband and myself are not small people and this is very sturdy, comfortable and portable. My husband said were the chair hits him in the shoulder on this one is a little more snugg compare to the other director chairs that Sam's sells. We do own both sets of chairs. This chair is easier for us to carry in our Toyota Carroll plus we have a baby and a toddler.

I bought this originally for my husband but enjoyed it so much I took over. My mom came to visit and really enjoyed it as it was more comfortable than the directors chair she has. Needless to say I bought my mom and 2 more of these chairs for my mom, husband and son. It is definitely worth the money!
