I purchased this for my queen mattress (14" thick). It was very difficult to get it on and the corner elastic straps had to be stretched to the breaking point and one of them actually did break. I'm sure it will not be coming off.....maybe not ever...lol. I think I will keep it because I am tired of searching for a good pad at a reasonable price. Cannot speak to the comfort/cooling or durability as I am just putting it on the bed. Might update later if I think it deserves more than 3 stars. I got it on sale for $40.

Great mattress pad and great price! Placed this on a firm 8" gel memory foam mattress in a guest room, and the pad provides a nice layer of extra softness and cushiony comfort to balance out the feel of the firm mattress. The top material feels very soft and breathable. Guests slept comfortably and said the pad did not seem to cause an increase in heat/heat retention during the night. Also, a glass of water (~8-10 oz) was spilled on the bed, and the pad stopped it completely from getting through to the mattress! It appears to actually be waterproof as advertised unlike some mattress protectors I have used in the past. Did well in the washing machine too!

I dont sleep hot, but this was really hot! Took back. Also it took away from our temperpedic bed...our bed is ridiculously comfortable and did not need how thick this was. If u have a hard bed or not a very good bed i could see how this could be helpful. But it was unbearably hot.

I don't often get excited about a new mattress pad, but this one does it for me. First, it is comfortable as expected at this price point, but the elastic straps that hold it on are impressive. The wide elastic around the bottom edge holds it snug, and the additional diagonal elastic straps at each corner ensure that it won't slip. No slipping, no bunching, just a nice layer of softness under the sheet.

Excellent quality deep pockets snug fit

I was looking for a pad for my new full sized mattress. Unfortunately there seemed to be a manufacturing defect. The elastic was significantly too tight to even fit on the mattress. I had to return the pad.

I like the mattress pad; however, when I wash it, it retains water because of the waterproof layer. The excess water is so much that I'm throwing it away and will never purchase one again. I'm sick and tired of doing the extra spin!

The material on the corners is very thin and weak. My mattress is 15 inches and this mattress pad does not fit over the corners. It truly is a terrible mattress pad. Very poor quality
