Very happy so far!

The OEM tires (Firestone LE2) on my Ridgeline were at just below 4/32" and we were taking a 1,000 mile trip; I always change tires when the tread depth hits that measurement, so I stopped in at the Firestone company store in Dover Delaware. I am very particular about who mounts and balances tires on my vehicle, having seen the effects of improper tools and techniques. I was greeted by TJ who quickly and professionally put together a quote. I scheduled an appointment for three days from then and left. On the way back from Philly the day of the appointment there was a serious accident and a 45 minute delay. I called TJ to say I would not be able to make the appointment time and to reschedule; he asked me when I would be there and then said "we will get the tires installed,see you then!" Sure enough, I got there, dropped the truck off, went and had lunch, and then came back earlier than the 1 1/2 hours I assumed it would take--there was my truck with 4 new tires! We were able to get on our way in time! The LE3 tires are quieter than the LE2 tires they replaced, handle great in the dry and wet, and are quiet. Destination LE3

I have been a fan of the Destination Tire for years now due to its smooth ride, durability, comfort control, and overall safety, recently had this tire put on my daughters car also because it is time tested by me and I know its valuable quality and safety.

A quality tire

I purchased these tires at Miller's Pit Stop in Richmond,Kentucky. I had a set of Firestone tires several years ago and when I got these I didn't really know what to expect from them. But I have been very pleased with them, I get good mileage and the traction is great and I get a good comfortable ride. I would highly recommend this tire.

Great recommendation

Purchased a literal used one owner older lady that drove a 2015 Escape for 23000 miles!. Put 7 on it and realized they were the OEM Nexen tires. Not great. Called my personal Tires Plus, as always, and they said get the LE3 Firestone. It was a huge difference just driving out the door. Perfect car for Central Florida weather and travel. Noticeably more comfortable and secure.

Will buy again

On my 3rd set now. Car came w/this tire. Made the mistake of purchasing another name brand as my third set. Three replaced before halfway through warranty. Also too much vibration & road noise. Haven't been on the freeway yet but I anticipate quiet for a change. Never had any problem in the worst winter weather with these on my car. My niece purchased same for her suv when I recommended them. Was on my 2nd set then. Great tire.

Quiet Ride

Purchased about 8 days ago, and they are as advertised. Offers a very quiet and smooth ride. I have to be careful as the smoothness of the ride sometimes results in accidently going faster than I think I am going, so I am making the adjustment. So far, they handle very well in wet and dry conditions. Much better quality than the original tires that came with the vehicle.

Good Highway tire - Not for Off Highway or Snow

These tires are great for on highway use dry and wet conditions. Snow conditions not well, difficulty steering in corners and requires 4 wheel drive often. Off highway (gravel road) performance not well - easily punctured. Have had to repair tires 3 times in 15k miles use. Originally we purchased these when we lived in the city, however moved to rural home later. These tires are better suited for in town driving where they excel, very quiet and comfortable ride. But if you enjoy the occasional drive on gravel or mud, these will be ok. If you live on gravel or use off road heavily, these are not for you. We would have purchased tires better fit for our area, like the Destination MT or XT series, which we have on a truck. No issues with the MTs.

Not Satisfied bad ride

Purchased these tires on April 8, 2022, I am not satisfied with the performance and ride comfort Of these tires. I brought a set in 2011 of LE2 and was completely happy with that set. These ride badly not completely sure if it is the tires in itself or not balance properly.

Horrible customer service for customer of 30yrs+

If I could give Zero stars I would. Both for the tires and service. I bought these for my 2022 Buick Enclave that replaced the original Continental Cross Trac had 70,000 miles on. After getting these installed, I left only to have to come back because the tires were so out of balance the Port Huron Sams club that it was a safety issue strike one. At highway speeds it caused the vehicle to sway and shake and felt like you were going to lose control. I called to try to bring it in but you are sent to a central call center to make appts which is horrible, and they have no clue what is going on. I finally got an appt to bring it in or so I thought. I brought the car in and found out that no appt was made by call center. Strike two against them, they rebalanced the wheels or so I thought, I was told that they were balanced improperly the first time with weight being put at wrong area. I left but it was a windy day with winds of 20-40mph so it was hard to tell if it was causing the swaying in the car. The next day we took the car to church for easter and on the way we both talked about how bad the car felt again. Frustrated I called back and talked with AMANDA who is very helpful but is limited by upper level management about what can be done. I was told that my car would need an alignment and that was causing it. I took it to my local GM dealer and they checked alignment and said everything was in specs. Mind you I had it aligned about 5k miles ago. Amanda made an appt to bring it in on Friday. I ordered some different tires to have in stock to change out the new firestones that were improperly installed. I was assured by Amanda that things would be made right. When I arrived for my 3pm appt early I was told that they could not start until Amanda (who was on lunch break which is not an issue) got back. Once she got back, they did the tire exchange and the difference between the tires was going to be $282. I asked how they were "making it right" and she said by exchanging the tires. They have a 30-day guarantee and I bought the tire warranty so where is the making it right? Amanda then said she could not do anything more. I said so I drove up here 3 different times to fix an issue with the installed tire, 1 day talking a half day off of work and they 30day return policy is the only thing you are doing. I aksed how about splitting the difference between new or old tires or put my old tires back on that had 70k on them. They said they could do neither. I then asked to talk to the store manager. The REAL manager was on vacation and still has not return my phone calls or responded. A" Coach Candace" who is supposedly 2nd in command came to talk right away after she came back it was confrontational "she asked what more could you want" I proceeded to explain how many times I had been back in the last week, how the tires were improperly balanced the first time so bad that the car was unsafe to drive, how I was told to get an alignment that was the issue, and they were replacing the tires so what is the big deal. She said they dont sell many of the firestone tires. It is one that is rated really high on their tire page. I told her to take the car for a ride and tell me it is safe she refused she said she can't do that . Ok I said have your tech people drive it she said they can't, I said go with me she said I will never get in a car with you. Was I upset yes did I yell or cuss no, I asked to split the difference which would have been about $130 total. But not she refused said I could go somewhere else and get them done that was my only other option. I reluctantly allowed tire change and it was completed and I left after paying the full $242 because they forgot to put the rebate in. On the way home my tire sensor went off on front driver tire. I turned around and they had to relearn it again they failed as it went off again the next day. I then went to the local tire shop and he fixed the issue. FYI stay away from PORT Huron SAMS Tire Center and hopefully you don't have to deal with COACH Candace because I think she does not know that customer service industry is predicated on actual customer service and not putting the issue on the customer for your company's improper install and balance. Also still waiting for a call from Store manager maybe by Christmas, it is April 29th

FIRESTONE LE3

I made a bad mistake installing these tires. They seem to have a manufactures defect. Before replacing the hankook factory installed tires on my truck, No vibration at any speed. Now after installation of these new FIRESTONE LE3, VIBRATION,I even brought truck back in and the manager rebalanced and even though a little better, still vibrates! I'm not happy at all and would spend the time to have a NEW set of anything that would NOT vibrated installed. I paid for road hazard warranty but that only matters if I ruin a tire not if I'm just not happy with your product's performance. Lemon tires!
