Awesome tire

I put the duratracs on my Toyota 4Runner. 265/70 r 17. With the lift kit and upgraded shocks, They look awesome. I have never had so many compliments on a tire before. They handle well in all conditions and on all terrains. No hydroplaning at all. I have driven in 2 feet of snow with no problem. My only complaint would be that they are a little loud, but I think it is minimal compared to other tires in this category. 10,000 miles so far.

Still the all round, BEST TIRE

This is the second set of the same exact tires on my truck, the previous set lasted well over 70,000 miles and probably had another 5-10K I could have gotten out of them. Best all around, snow, wet, off road and even on road. Aggressive looking enough to appear stock, but meaty. FREAKING AWESOME TIRES for the price..

Not a bad set of tires.

I have had these tires for about 7,000 to 10,000 miles (not certain) they are good in dry weather. In wet road conditions I do slip out of traction but not to the point where I dont have control. And in a recent trip across the country I towed a trailer, the truck/trailer weighed about 11,500lbs the tires handled the trailer very well kept me planted in the mountains and even helped me when I needed to stop in an emergency situation when someone slammed on the brakes in front of me cause my truck and trailer brakes to lock up. So I will be buying again.

Not for Heavy Towing

I only have a couple thousand miles on them at this time, but they are great looking and I can cover a few items. Tires are great so far, quit for as aggressive as they are. They hold stones which act as out of balance at times until you clean them out. The sidewalls are weak for a 10 ply tire, If you swerve to pass you can feel it or tow heavy loads as I do in the the F-350 they flex. I am use to 10 ply's that can handle 80psi where these have a maximum of 65psi.

Best winter tire for trucks, period.

These tires have done me very well in the winter time. I find them not quite perfect in rainy weather, but for the snow and ice they are phenomenal. I have them in a 315/70 R17 format (35x12.5) so they are probably nosier for me then an average highway tire, but very tolerable. Quiet radio easily drowns out any tire noise on the road, even with the tire studs. The tread ware has been amazing. I have about 55000 km on my tires and still well over half life let to them. I will defiantly replace them with another set of Duratracs when ever i manage to ware them out.

Not What I Expected

Tires on a 2014 4x4 TRD-Pro. Mount and balancing went better then expected (+). Tire road noise about 7/10 (+). Around town dry pavement 7/10 (+). Wet pavement tires easily break traction easily with regular acceleration from at stop lights. 3/10 (-). Wear on tires, they still look new 8,500 miles. 8/10 (+). Towing 9k lb trailer, no complaints on flat and highway. 8/10 (+). On wet boat ramp, Very poor. Needed 4 wheel drive when it should not be necessary. 2/10 (-). Snow: I cant believe these tires earned the Mountain peak/ Snow Flake rating. The type of snow we get in the North East is usually packable snow. On untracked/ unpacked/ freshly fallen snow these are a 4/10 at very best. (-) If it has been plowed and thin layer of packed, 1/10 (-). Another brand all-terrain same rating tire easily ran circles around these in the same road/ weather/ use/ towing conditions. I dont have the option of staying home from work because of weather. Next year I will buy snow tires for winter.

Beefy, Big and Rugged

I was looking for a rugged tire to dress up my pickup that would give me top notch winter traction and maintain good ride quality. I worked with Modern Tire in Newington and they recommended these Duratracs by Goodyear and they fit the bill 100%. I love how they look, handle and give me confidence in the snow. Oh, and Modern Tire was awesome to deal with--highly recommend them.

Excellent tire for off roading and highway driving...

This tire is the best bang for your buck for overall performance. It has a chunky tread for optimal off road road capabilities.Highway noise is very minimal, with great handling on pavement whether wet or dry. This is a high quality tire that delivers.

Great online experience and ease of scheduling.

Bought these tires for a Ford Raptor. I can honestly say these tires are one of the best I've ever driven on for any vehicle. The breaking on snow/ice was incredible. And for a pick-up truck, the ride and handling is equally phenomenal. Great job Goodyear!

I love the DuraTrac's!

Replaced my stock BFG Rugged Terrains at 40k miles. The DuraTracs (same exact size as OEM) are not any noisier, ride quality is very close to being the same. There is a little vibration in the steering wheel from 60mph - 75mph, then evens out around 80mph. They are really tough and have amazing traction in lose ground, dirt, mud, rain, ice and slush. Cannot speak for the tread wear, not enough miles on them yet, however at 6k miles, they still look brand new (as I would expect any tire to do so under normal conditions). I got the heavy duty DuraTracs with the 10ply sidewalls. I lost about 15 miles per tank of gas over the BFG Rugged Terrains.
