great tires for getting thru snow and mud

purchased the tires when taking a family ski vacation and ran into plenty of deep snow during our travels and never once had any issues. Since then have hauled loads of hay in some wet and muddy pastures and still no traction problems. The cost is worth the value.

BLACKWALL

18" outlasted the BFGs on rocky trails. The BFGs chunked really badly. A couple nicks on these. Same trail, same temperature, same load, and freshly balanced. Better product and less fragile. Almost as quiet as Nitto G2s. I'm keeping with these on this Jeep.

The Best

I've had these tires for 4 years city highway and off road, about 48000 miles and 5000 left. I have load range E, one flat (slow leak), Great traction, except one time on snow/ice. Even wear. A bit more siping may be good. I'll get these for my F350 and Suburban from now on.

Look Great! Great durability. Loud ride.

Love the way these tires look on my Tacoma. Winter driving they are fantastic but they suck on wet roads. Before I bought them I saw a lot of complaints about road noise. With local driving I didn't think it was too bad but at highway speeds it was difficult to carry on a conversation. If you prefer looks over function you may like this tire.

Best tire on the market. HANDS DOWN

I've bought 4 sets of these tires, they have performed very well on roads that are ice covered for 5 months out of the year. They are quiet and wear well. Awesome all around tire. I am buying my 5th set soon. Worth every penny if you want a safe dependable, high quality tire that performs in all weather.

Heat makes me doubt their lifespan

Overall very pleased with these tires. They look great, they ride comfortably, and have been excellent for traction. My one concern is they seem to be losing tread at an exceptional rate. I live in Texas and with hot road surfaces I'm leaving rubber marks everywhere I drive, just by driving and parking normally. I really doubt they're going to make it to their warranty, but hey that's what warranties are for.

Highly Satisfied!

This was my first winter in a rear-wheel drive 1/2 ton truck, and it didn't take long to realize it wasn't going to handle ice and snow well. I felt a huge difference with these tires! They grip even the slickest surfaces so well that I really only have to worry about the other vehicles around me.

Excellent tire for off roading and highway driving...

This tire is the best bang for your buck for overall performance. It has a chunky tread for optimal off road road capabilities.Highway noise is very minimal, with great handling on pavement whether wet or dry. This is a high quality tire that delivers.

Pretty good

So far I've driven in heavy rain, on the taconic parkway with pooling and flooding, no issues at all. I also drove on a 800-mile trip down south as well. The tires are a slightly louder on the highway than the previous set of mud/snow tires from another company, but very minor. Overall they feel and look great. I did notice my highway gas mileage went down very slightly, from ~19 mpg to around ~17, also very minor. Driving a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

Early results

2014 ford f150 no level or lift kit < 2k miles driven Bought the tire for better traction in the Indiana weather. Too early to tell if they are good in the snow. Main concern was road noise, yes there is a slight wine while going down the road no matter your speed. At normal radio level you'll hear it. They will grab a soft shoulder when you slightly vere off the backroad. The oem tire would just slide down off the pavement. This tire grips and over correction could be a problem. Just stay on the road would be the simple solution. Yet when it happened i was suprised. Lost 3 mpg, averaged 18.5 now down to 15.5, you have to pay for that tire wine music somewhere so all that grip gets you at the pump. So if you want your truck to drive like a car go with the passenger oem tire. If you want the truck to ride like a truck buy these.
