my experience

All my life I had been surrounded by pickup trucks. Regarding this tire, It really look great in my power wagon, it has an excellent design, the pavement traction is good, mud and grass traction is medium. The durability, mine are worn with only 27,000 miles (I was expecting near 40,000) Flat tire, one time only caused a small rock in the road. I had notice that it loose small pieces of it (no significant). Generally is a good tire with a medium life.

BEST TIRE I HAVE EVER HAD

I PUT ON 94,000 MILES ON THESE TIRES. I DROVE THROUGH SNOW IN THE MIDWEST FOR THE FIRST 4 YEARS AND THEN MOVED AND DROVE ON UNPAVED ROADS OUT IN THE DESERT OF NEVADA WHERE I LIVE. I FINALLY HAD MY FIRST FLAT TIRE EVER AT 93,000 MILES AND THAT WAS ON THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE. THE OTHER TIRES WHICH WERE PURCHASED ALL AT THE SAME TIME ARE STILL GOING BUT ITS A MATTER OF TIME WHEN THEY CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE. I AM VERY PROUD OF THE QUALITY AND DURABILITY OF THESE TIRES BECAUSE THEY HAVE OUTLASTED THE RECOMMENDED 50,000 MILES. THEY ARE LOW E rated AND THEY STILL HAVE A QUIET SMOOTH RIDE FOR SUCH RUGGED TIRES. FOREMOST MY HAT GOES OUT TO GOODYEAR FOR THEIR EXCEPTIONAL LONG LASTING WORTH EVERY PENNY SPENT QUALITY AND DEPENDABLILITY OF TIRE PRODUCTS SOLD. THANKYOU SO SO MUCH .

Aggressive All Terrain

these are a very aggressive all terrain tire. I bought them to replace my BFG AT/KO2's with 30k miles on them. The BFGs were excellent the first year in all conditions but deteriorated quickly after that. I have only had the Duratracs on for 500miles so I don't know how they will be long term. So far they are great in the snow (that's all we have had since I got them on). I plow commercially and these are giving me excellent traction so far. They also ride quite a bit better than my BFGs. They are a little louder though. I hope these hold up for many miles.

Early results

2014 ford f150 no level or lift kit < 2k miles driven Bought the tire for better traction in the Indiana weather. Too early to tell if they are good in the snow. Main concern was road noise, yes there is a slight wine while going down the road no matter your speed. At normal radio level you'll hear it. They will grab a soft shoulder when you slightly vere off the backroad. The oem tire would just slide down off the pavement. This tire grips and over correction could be a problem. Just stay on the road would be the simple solution. Yet when it happened i was suprised. Lost 3 mpg, averaged 18.5 now down to 15.5, you have to pay for that tire wine music somewhere so all that grip gets you at the pump. So if you want your truck to drive like a car go with the passenger oem tire. If you want the truck to ride like a truck buy these.

Exceeded my expectations

I had these tires installed on my Jeep TJ because I was looking for a tire that had agressive styling and off-road capability, but still made sense for on road use. The way the duratracs handle winter roads is outstanding, the traction is unbelievable and it's like the snow isn't even there. I'm extremely impressed with these tires, and buying them has been the best thing I've done for my Jeep.

Great traction / Great looks

I just bought a 2015 Explorer Sport. I really! want to put Duratracs on it but I do not see it available on your website. 255/50R20. I would love to hear that you are working on offering this size! I would think that the ROI would be there for you to produce this size if you consider all the Explorers on the road. The Dodge Durango, Chevy Traverse and Jeep Grand Cherokee also run the 20" rim and would look great with your Duratracs I would really appreciate it if you could get this request into the hands of someone that has the power to look into this possible new size offering. I would be happy to be your first customer! I welcome a response and would be happy to discuss this in further detail.

weak on thorns...

Bought these tires as they are one of the few load rated tires for a Chevy 3500 (pulling 15,000# gooseneck) that have good traction. They are excellent for that and get you through any muddy spots without fail. HOWEVER, DO NOT use them in south Texas or anywhere there are thorns. The design of the side wall/lugs seems to act like a tractor beam for thorns. I trashed two brand new tires with mesquite thorns, which is usually not an issue for similar all terrain E load tires.

Got stock 20's on 06 Ram DuraTrac Rocks!!!

Was looking at another brand tire. Wife seen these and did not want any other brand. Took to shop to buy, and put on. I am completely satisfied. Took my Dodge Ram, down to Outer Banks,NC...wow from driving on the beach looking at wild horses, running through mud, and rain Family was comfortable, and had a blast. The tires held very smoothly and aggressive when needed on rough terrain. Doing about 75 on the highway back up north, no loud road noise. I have not drove it in the winter yet. Still the way my traction was in sand, and mud. I am definitely not worried, Great tires Goodyear!!! The build, look, and use..Its amazing, i can get this all in one tire!!!

50,000 miles and can probably get more.

I've had these tires for 50,000 miles and can probably get another 15k if I wasn't concerned about the upcoming snow. I drive a Jeep Wrangler and the road noise sometimes can be loud compared to my other vehicles, especially at highway speeds. I have been very impressed with how they perform off road and in inclement weather. I'm not driving a sports car, so I don't expect these tires to handle like that. They do grip the road well though. I will be repurchasing them this fall.

Good but need better grip still

The tires were great and lasted longer than my power king 900 16s did but didnt go though mud as well. If you could combine the style and capability of the power kings with the lasting of the good years you would have the best affordable mud tire for farmers out there, and if the word got out about there capabilties then you could have better sales just from farmers than ever before plus the fact people looking for a mud tire would want them too. If you combined Power kings 900 16s with your goodyears and got the qualities of both put together the would sell like hot cakes i promise.
