We moved out to a rural area nine years ago and managed through many power outages. As time goes on, we are less willing to put up with cold nights and camping in our own home. We purchased our new generator this summer and the peace of mind is incredible. This generator runs on both propane and gasoline, and is ready to go in less than 10 minutes. We had a major storm roll in last night and I slept easy, knowing that we were safe and secure.

Purchased this generator for the winter nor'easter season in coastal New England. Hooked up a propane tank from my grill, pressed one button and off it went. Ran steadily for a few hours to break in the engine and still have propane to spare. Love the remote so that I can start it from inside. Very heavy but very easy to move with the sturdy handle. Great portable generator!

This generator is extremely flexible and of good quality. It was recommended by my electrician as a backup source of power for my 2-story house. The setup was perfect to power my house completely in case of power loss. I've had many generators and this is by far the best one!

Just purchased this generator. I'm very pleased with the features of this product. I have not had to use it in an emergency situation yet, but I did give it a trial run. It started right up and seems to be able to handle everything that I intend on using it for.

I purchased this model got the max power output and duel fuel options. I also love the easy start and easy of use. Since we live an area where power goes out for days at a time no matter if it's winter, summer or just a storm. Since I work remotely this unit has been a blessing.

I liked the price as I comparison shopped heavily before pulling the trigger on this unit. Easy to assemble. Sturdy construction. Hope it will last me a lifetime here in Florida. Only minor complaint is that one of the top cross members came with a ding in it. Doesn't affect anything but still am surprised it had any damage as I thought it was really well crated.

I bought this last Dec. and just had the interlock device put in the house last month. Yesterday I got to use it for the first time when a squirrel climbed up the electric pole near my house and tripped the breaker fuse on the electrical transformer, thus knocking out our electricity and terminating the squirrel.Electric company said lead time to fix could be 3 hours.It was 40 degrees out so I fired up the generator.connected to power cord and our house had Rlectricity till the repairman came and put the transformer fuse back in. have the Wgen9500DF and it powers the whole house.

Reasonable price for the power and everything you get. Only reason it's not a 5-star is because the initial start up was slightly problematic. Would only start up with propane at first until eventually starting up with gas after several attempts. Now it's working like a charm on both fuel options.

WGen9500DF Set up was 10 minutes tops. Started right up using propane and have used the unit half a dozen times since initial start up. weight is about what I expected. It's not light but it is fairly easy to move around. Currently waiting for the electrician to install the transfer switch for house power. Appears to be excellent quality product.

Bought this product after a winter power outage. It was delivered and left in the box for 4-5 months. A recent summer storm took out the power. The unit was pulled out with minimal set up (attaching wheels, gas and oil) the unit was running. Only reason its not an excellent is its been used once but I fully expect it to be.
