Bought for emergency backup, has the 50A NEMA plug necessary to power my house. Remote start cool even though I don't know what practical purpose it serves. Super easy to switch gas/propane. Nice that it keeps cranking until it starts with just one push.

Bought in preparation for hurricane season. Didn't start right up from directions. Had to plug in battery charging port. Attempted using AC outlets and they didn't work. Called customer service. They said it needed to run for an hour before outlets worked. Two hours later - not working. Attempted calling customer service 5:25pm on Sunday system hung up on me three times. Hopefully customer service is there for everyone when hurricane hits. Will update more as needed.

Ease of setup This generator is easy to setup and maintain. I especially like the remote control and the dual fuel option. I had my electrician setup a manual transfer switch. I haven't needed to use it yet but the initial setup and test with a propane tank worked like a charm.

Bought this late August. During break in and after, ran different watt items from 1875W hair dryer, grinder, circular saw and even an old homemade squirrel cage fan that take a lot of juice to get turning. Ran separately and all together, drag on this generator was barely noticeable. This generator did not skip a beat. Although I am still trying to get my electrician out to hook the generator to my home, I have no worries that it will handle any needs of my home (everything but central air). I ran it on gas and propane and was able to switch fuels while running without any problems. I have a natural gas outlet but have not tried it yet due to it has PVC pipe connected to it that is buried in the ground from connection to outlet and is 40 yrs. old. Don't trust the PVC but will do away with the pipe and go straight from the outlet with hose to generator after I get the outlet check out by a pro first. So far, I am fully satisfied with this product and from other reviews, I feel any issues will be handled by the warranty and their team. I really don't expect any with this generator though. It is nice to have three options for fueling this WGen9500TFc.

I bought this as a home power backup option with the freedom to take it out for powering future outdoor events etc. I haven't had a serious power outage yet to really put it through it's paces but where I live the power can potentially stay out for days. I did do some diligent testing though and was very impressed by it's ability to power pretty much my whole home at full blast, minus the electric cooking range and the electric dryer. And this was only using the 30A outlet and running on propane. Whole (4bdrm) home= propane force air furnace, 240v well pump, all lights, several computers, monitors, 40" plasma screen, etc. You will always have to do your own wattage calculations for your home. This generator feels very modern and cleanly designed. With the remote electric start, and how it auto restarts if it stops for any reason, these features make it feel like a modern sportscar where other generators I've used feel like a smelly rusty ol chevy. It's heavy but pretty easily maneuverable on wheels. Powerful, flexible, portable, and affordable, feels like a win to me.

i bought this tri-fuel generator 2 months ago and have used it recently on natural gas for a 2 hour power outage, It was easy to use and worked very well. I really enjoyed the electric start feature as compared to the recoil start on my old generator. I also like the remote start feature using the key fob.

I purchased a Westinghouse 9500DF generator on April 6th and I'm very happy with my purchase. The generator is working very well and is easy to use. I really like using the remote start, it works very well. I'm looking forward to using this generator has an emergency power source for many years to come.

Although I don't have anything to compare to and looking at numerous others I decided on the WGen9500DF. Right out of the box (adding the oil) a few pulls and it started right up. I used gas the 1st start but will likely be using propane moving forward because it burns cleaner. Although the generator is loud I actually thought based on what I've been told it would be louder. (Another plus) I recently had a 50 amp transfer switch installed and after starting plugged in the generator I was able to power the pool, fridge, freezer, router, various lights, etc. I switched those off and turned on heat and then pool (along with fridge and freezer) and there didn't seem to be any hesitation. My wife and my minds are at ease heading into the crazy Texas winters which are very unpredictable.

I bought this several months ago after losing power to my home on Christmas eve. Fortunately, at the time, I had two strong teenage boys to carry water out of the basement 5 gallons at a time so our basement did not flood due to the sump pump being out of commission. This feller can help us turn what could be a miserable, long night into an easy 5 minute, "GOT YOUR BACK!" Runs nearly my entire house.

I bought this to supplement my home electricity for my wife. She has a medical condition that requires her to have A/C at all times. This model is perfect for someone who has never done this before. It has many features that make it simple. I am so happy to have this electricity backup.
