Bought this unit in August, been testing it monthly and finally got our Generlink Transfer Switch MA24-S installed last month. Did a test run and it looked good. No heat or air. Would be nice to know how much load is being placed on the generator by having some sort of indictor. Mainly want it to run the fridge, freezer all the lights etc and it seemed to be doing well in that arena.

I have been totally amazed with all the features of this generator. As I read the manual it's capabilities exceeded my general needs. However, it's good to know I have reserve power If required. I also like the fact everything was included other than gas to put the generator into operation. I found the instruction easy to understand and I believe it to be one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Generator delivered this morning. Came in excellent condition. Followed setup steps, added oil. Ran a startup cycle before adding fuel. Figured this would get oil circulating. Added gas and it started right up. Runs very smooth. I really like the push button start and the remote will perhaps save that late night trip outside to power down when commercial power is restored. So far, overly impressed with the 9500 DF

I Just picked this up yesterday. It has all the features the electrician told me to get. Dual fuel, 10,000 to 12,000 watts, single line plug in and electric start with a key fob and back up recoil start is a plus I wasn't expecting! I highly recommend this generator! I showed this Generator to my neighbor and he is getting one because of the dual fuel, power output and the price!

Just purchased and tested the generator. Love the dual fuel option. Especially if you want to avoid gasoline sitting in your tank and going bad. For short duration outages, or short work I plan to use the propane to keep gasoline from going bad and gumming up the carburetor. For longer use, when I know I'll run the generator through lots of fuel, I'll use gas. Haven't had time to use it much. Will try to update the review if I have any problems in the future. But, it has great features and lots of power! Looking forward to backing up my house when the power goes out.

Great unit. Easy to use and start. Versatile with the duel fuel. I'm more comfortable storing a supply of propane than gasoline. When it's going to be used for an extended period, I can go get additional gas to keep it running while the propane is in use. I had a transfer switch put on the house, so very easy to run everything I need in my home when the grid is down.

Very pleased with this purchase! It is way quieter than the other one we have that is about the same size. Would definitely buy again if I needed to. The only thing I would change is where the handle you pull it with and the wheels should switch sides, only because the plug for the transfer switch doesn't fit between the wheel and the generator. We have to remove the wheel to get it to fit which is super easy, it's just another step that would be helpful to skip. But other than that it's a pretty sound machine.

I did a lot of research before buying this generator and I am very satisfied with it. I would like to see you guys come out with a tri fuel generator adding natural gas. During a storm gasoline and propane are very scarce and with natural gas it gives you a long term option.

The Westinghouse tri-fuel generator fit the bill. I needed it recently, and it fired right up with the remote and kept us operational in our home. After six months of ownership, I am very pleased with the product.

This is one of the most feature rich, high output portable generators on the market. Key buying points for me were: Duel fuel is huge! The ability to use either gasoline or propane is perfect for me, and as a natural gas customer I will be adding the conversion kit to use natural gas for the most economical and environmentally friendly operation; 50amp output, most others in it's class only have a 30amp output; electric push button start and the 1st in class warranty. After unboxing, added the included oil, fueled it up and was running perfectly within minutes.
