It took over a month to get here. Once it finally arrived (no thanks to Home Depot) it was easily assembled and fired up on the first push of the START button. No shaking or stuttering, and about as loud as the average lawn mower. It seems to be quite well made and the instructions are easy to understand. It would be nice if it came with the proper amount of oil (it takes a little more than the quart they provide) but it was good enough to get started. Inasmuch as the WGEN9500DF powers everything but my 60K BTU central air, I can say that I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

This generator is the Cadillac of all generators!!! The best of the best highly recommended. It's fast simple and easy to use. Westinghouse has a great support team and will take care of you! I bought this generator to power my house during monsoon season as power goes out in the crazy heat waves here in Arizona. So far I have ran my 2.5 ton central A/c fridge, chest freezer and garage door opener. Everything else in my house minus the hot water heater stove washer and dryer but who needs those in a heat wave!! If I needed to I could shut everything else down and run those independent. I had people driving up and down my street wondering why my house was lit up while the whole town was out pitch black. My wife says to me I have never seen this many people driving up and down our street. I said they wanna see why our house was lit up and theirs wasn't. The only thing I can say is do your reasearch and put the right Plug on your house as I did mine twice. I started with the 30 amp and found out that I couldn't get the full potential of the generator at 12,500 so I had the electrician come back and put the 50 amp on. So I was able to run whole house. 30 amp is limited to 9500 so don't make the mistake I did.

This is one of the most feature rich, high output portable generators on the market. Key buying points for me were: Duel fuel is huge! The ability to use either gasoline or propane is perfect for me, and as a natural gas customer I will be adding the conversion kit to use natural gas for the most economical and environmentally friendly operation; 50amp output, most others in it's class only have a 30amp output; electric push button start and the 1st in class warranty. After unboxing, added the included oil, fueled it up and was running perfectly within minutes.

I did a lot of research before buying this generator and I am very satisfied with it. I would like to see you guys come out with a tri fuel generator adding natural gas. During a storm gasoline and propane are very scarce and with natural gas it gives you a long term option.

We have done the basics run with it per instructions and seemed to do a great job. We have a transfer box in and were able to run a large amount of house on this generator. The generator is a good size. Not terribly loud and with the wheels can be moved around semi easily.

I just purchased my first portable generator. I was advised to buy a Honda or Briggs&Stratton. When I googled dual fuel generators, Westinghouse popped up. Did research on all three and found that the other two didn't have dual fuel generators. Bob Villa ranked Westinghouse third out of ten generators. Said the Westinghouse 9500 was best the bang for your buck. I picked it up six days after I purchased and looking forward to it keeping a number of things running when and if we lose power. Also be good to use at the deer lease.

I wanted a solution to combat intermittent power issues resulting from weather-related and infrastructure age-related outages that was less expensive than the whole home options and also provided flexibility for use in other situations where portable power was needed lime remote use of a travel trailer. The Westinghouse tri-fuel generator fit the bill. I needed it recently, and it fired right up with the remote and kept us operational in our home. After six months of ownership, I am very pleased with the product.

Just purchased this unit and very happy with the product. Front interface panel is nicely laid out and easy for users to change fuel settings, leverage receptacles, etc. Overall - very happy with this 9500DF Westinghouse Unit and found the other positive reviews were spot on.

I'm used to starting generators manually pulling the chord to start it. Like a lawn mower. This has an electric start, like a BMW. And it doesn't just run on gas. Propane works here too! There's even a key fob you can use. Totally wireless. This generator is by far the most efficient, coolest generator I've ever used.

Really liked choice to use either propane or gasoline. Somewhat more noise than I expected (compared to 18 year old 5500 John Deere) but also has much more power. Need to change transfer box connector (from 20 to 30 or 50 amp) before I really know what can do. So far, space heater, several lights and 7A air compressor don't create a noticeable load. Looking at upgrading transfer to cover more than essential circuits (well pump, fridge, kitchen & electric parts of propane stove & water heater).
