Bought a month ago and no regrets, Pretty quiet compared to my old generator and much easier to handle. It is compatible with a GENERLINK Transfer switch (the one that sits just behind the electric meter outside your house. Dual fuel is great option. IF gas gets too expensive I have an option to propane. Starts up quickly with electric start. Should run whole house easily.. we do have a pretty efficient house. All i need now is a hookup to charge an electric car if power goes out. Power goes out a lot here as we are surrounded by provincial park on one side and nature /wildlife reserves on other side. LOTS of 70 to 80 foot trees and power lines go through these areas.

Ordered this generator to use when power outtages happen, which is usually 2-4 times a year. Should be powerful enough to run what I need. Love the remote start so my wife can start if I'm at work. Love that you can switch between gas and propane while unit is still running!

I purchased generator on-line, great price, was given an arrival date and it arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected! Easy to assemble, added oil and gas and it fired right up, glad I bought this machine for whole house use in the event of an outage, really hope that never happens!

Today I put the oil into the generator so I can start it up. I followed the instructions for using a propane cylinder. Using the remote fob first, it started almost immediately. Then I tried the push button on the generator and again it started right up. What was really surprising as my wife noticed, that it is quieter then we expected. She went into the house and with the bedroom window closed she said it is quieter then the snow blower! Very satisfied.

Assembly and prep was easy (took me a little over an hour including unboxing and clean up) except for the oil filling. I spilled some (provided funnel is quite small and overflowed), and that made a mess but also I think you have to use the whole provided bottle to fill it up. I'll have to buy some more oil because the dipstick still isn't wet. As others have commented, the dip stick is very difficult to read. I hooked up a propane tank, forgot to choke it (do you have to choke when using propane?), but it started easily. It is kind of loud, but I expected that. Usually when the power goes out around here, it's less than a day so we can definitely put up with the noise to keep our lights on and food from spoiling or thawing. The unit itself seems well organized and well-made.

Just bought this Dual Fuel Generator in Aug, 2021. Came well packaged, I installed the wheels and foot rests, put in the oil, attached the LP source, and started it right up -- took 2 attempted starts. Worked perfectly, looks like a well built generator !

Purchased 30 days ago, wanted a DF model. Is set up to connect to 50 amp transfer switch, and even on propane able to power entire home including central air ! Very easy to start, love that it has manual and electric start and came with a battery tender. Electrician who installed asked me for the model and info so he could recommend to anyone looking for a generator. Have only run for a few hours to break in but feel very ready for any storms.

Just received my generator 3 days ago. Showed up on the day it was promised. Followed the direction easily. Started right up. Still need to have the cord made up so I can connect to my house. I'm almost ready for our first big winter storm here in Maine.

I am extremely happy with my WGen9500DF. It has lots of great features which makes it very versatile. It is quiet and has the power to run 90% of the power requirements of my home. This generator barley flinched when engaging heaver load circuits in my home. The remote start ability is fantastic! Great job Westinghouse!

I recently replaced my 20 yr old Generac with this unit. The delivery was process was excellent. Make sure you have clear access to your garage as they will take it on a pallet jack to your location. The packing was superb, be advised that there is a lot of cardboard to dispose of, but that is god as it is firmly packed. The directions and manual are by far one of the best I have read. Very easy to assemble the feet and wheels. It would be easier with two people but one can mange. I am in the break in period and will change to synthetic after 5 hours. Unit starts easy and powers everything I need. 2 freezers 1 refrigerator, pool pump, all lights and 1 8k air conditioner in my garage. The labeling on the unit leaves nothing to be desired. I plan on using LP or NG. At work our LP driven engines equipment lasts forever.
