We just got our new generator this week and are really impressed with it! It's controls are easy to understand and outlets are clearly marked and I really like that they have covers over each type of outlet. Fuel select is easy to operate and I love the flexibility of the unit. We also are very impressed with the quality of the unit!

Recieved and set up. Very impressed so far. I haven't had a power failure yet, but with hurricane just around the corner, I feel prepared. This unit comes with basic tools for maintenance, battery charger, remote start, and oil. And if I run out of gasoline, I can steal propane tanks from my gas grill.

My new Westinghouse arrived today and out of the box that was well packed came with zero shipping damage. after a thorough examination, every item was present and had no issues with the simple assembly of the wheels and connection of the battery. The manual is very informative and explains the ease of operation with simplicity. I have not started it at this time because I do not have the propane that I wish to use so I will do a follow up when I do but I am impressed with the quality of materials and the features of this generator. I must add that I live in South Louisiana and I am in no hurry to have to use it .

We have been wanting a portable generator to power our home in case of an electrical power failure. We live in the Houston area and hurricanes and other storms can create problems for our electrical service. This 9500 watt generator is exactly what we needed. We have a water well and an aerobic septic system, so when the power is out we really can't stay for long. Now with this new portable generator, we have the electrical supply we need. We had an electrician help us set it up to connect to our electric supply panel and we ran a test on it yesterday. It worked beautifully! The generator started right up with a push of a button and supplied enough power to run everything we need. Hopefully, we will never suffer a significant power outage, but now there is peace of mind knowing that we have a dependable back up source of power.

I have double the ways of using the generator, propane which will be my preference and gasoline as my back up. Finding gas during a hurricane is hard and real time consuming. Having a remote to turn it on, makes me feel more safe while turning it on from afar. Would be nice if you can provide a tent to use when it rains at a good price.

I bought this generator about a week ago and haven't had a chance to get my full use out of it yet however, the assembly to put the wheel kit on was done in a matter of minutes and fired right up upon testing to make sure everything worked as advertised. I was originally skeptical on buying a push start generator since it required a battery and is just an additional thing to have to maintain and worry about however I was pleased to find that it does indeed have a recoil start (pull cord) backup in case the battery is dead. This generator produces more than enough output for everyone I want to keep running during power outages. Overall great generator so far!

I bought this last month and it has absolutely been worth it. The set up was simple and the instructions were laid out very well. The generator started up right away, and functioned exactly as promised. Switching between gas and propane was very simple and worked smoothly. I used the remote start and had no issues. The switches and plugs are very easy to read and are functional. I highly recommend this generator.

It appears to be a solid unit. It has enough power to support my entire home. All appliances function and can be used as normal, including central AC, window AC, two fridges, sump pump, dehumidifier, washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc. although when the central AC comes on the inrush is a real kick in the groin for this unit but it does recover quickly and carries on. I did not buy this for the propane option (don't want to take the hit on wattage) and I have two 30 gallon fuel drums, so I cannot attest to it's functioning on propane as I have not tried that option. Like many of the reviews out there for this unit, I had problems with getting this unit started. I don't have any propane and I am disabled and incapable of using the pull-start, so the only choice I had was the auto-start sequence and gasoline. I ran and restarted the sequence 4 times and it would not start. After going over this unit top to bottom with a fine tooth comb (had spark, was getting fuel to carburetor from tank) and after about 15 start cycles I finally found the problem. The automatic choke apparently has a very weak actuator and the choke lever was barely brushing up against the backside of the PCV hose (which is inconveniently positioned horizontally directly in front of the choke lever) with enough force to stop the travel of the choke actuator before it reached the fully closed position and thus starving the engine during the start cycle. I rerouted the PCV hose to run in front of a vertical line to the vapor canister which keeps the choke lever from brushing up against the PCV hose. Now, without interference the automatic choke functions properly and the unit starts within 3 seconds of initiating the start sequence. The only other issue with this unit is the obvious design flaw of placing the 50 Amp receptacle directly over the wheel which severely impedes the use of the receptacle with pretty much any 50 Amp cable.

We have only did a test run with this generator so I don't have long term details to leave, but let me tell you so far. Shipping company was very kind and helpful. Thankful for their efforts to make the delivery easy. The “retractable” handlebar is awesome. It's very strudy and so helpful. We tested the dual fuel and it was seamless transition. The remote control start is absolutely awesome and works perfectly. This is going to be fantastic to have this set up for this winter. Thanks for making a great product.

The very easy installation just add to my overall satisfaction of this Generator which has everything I ever dreamed off. I used Profane for this Dual Fuel machine for a test run. Could start it from the Remote instantly and run my 4-ton Air Condition without any problem and recharge the starting Battery while it is running. No more to add, it is a wonderful machine.
