Just received it, haven't had a chance to use it. Bought it to power the house in case of power outages. I have fired it up to test and had no problems. I like that it has enough outlets for multiple appliances or whatever you want to power. So far so good, I recommend the generator, well made to.

started looking for generators and the Westinghouse ones seemed to be some of the highest rated by online reviews. I want one to be a manual switch backup for our house when we lose power. I went with the Wgen9500DF. I knew they must be pretty popular because they were sold out everywhere. Finally, months after searching regularly one became available and I scooped it up. So I received it a short time later. Box came in good condition. Directions are good. I went ahead and tested it using both gas and propane and it started and ran fine on both. That's where I have to stop the review though as we have not had a power outage to test it out. It seems like a nice unit though.

First to answer a couple of my own questions. 1. When charging Battery leave batter switch off and only charge for 6-8 hours 2. Propane usage: up to 7hours on a 20lb bottle at 50% load. When firing it up for the first time using electric start, i did have to manually place the choke on for 5 seconds then switch back to auto choke. The generator came in a nice package was actually impressed they sent it with a real wrench and not one just punched out of flat steel. Other than the two questions I had to email them about mentioned above start up and assembly was really easy. Ran for 30minutes without load and then ran my house off of it for 30minutes.

I bought this ready for winter so I've only used it a couple times for testing purposes but so it's worked as expected. It takes a bit to get it started the first time and it's best to do that on gas rather than propane but once I get it started the first time it started easily after that. The remote start/stop is nice but since I need to pull it out of the garage and hook it up I probably won't need to us it that much. I bought this because it got good ratings, the wattage will power my whole house, the price is pretty good, my local small engine shop said they could repair the engine if needed and the fact it' so fuel efficient. It's not a quite generator but for the size it's about what I'd expect and I'm only using it for power outages during winter. Hopefully it will continue to run nicely when I really need it.

I did not use it for a long period of time, but it seems to be a very sturdy machine with lots of power. I like the fact that the battery can be maintained with the charger. Starts very easy with electric and remote start, however, I could not get it to start using the manual re-coil. Once I get to use it under a load for a longer time, I will know more about it!

After losing power for 48 hours during Hurricane Ian last week, we decided that having a generator in St. Augustine was a "must have" item! I researched many brands and retailers for a whole house generator, NOTHING I found came close to the wattage output, features, warranty, dual fueled options and a bonus keyless remote start as the WGEN 9500DF. I ordered on 10/3/22, it arrived 4 days later! We can now rest easy that when we lose power in the future, we will have an immediate, reliable option to power our essential appliances.

Brought the unit to have it during the hurricane season. Been off power for a few days & almost a week during some of the pass seasons. But now I will be worry free. Especially since I got one for natural gas & all the great features. I will set it up to my panel board before the season starts this year.

We lost power about a month after purchase. It ran perfectly for 10 hours straight until power came back on. It ran SO good that at one point when the snow was coming down and the winds were howling I thought to myself "I wonder if we will lose power". Then it dawned on me we already had!

I just received my new generator and I can't wait to use it. I bought this generator based on reviews and questions and answers from other customers. The dual fuel feature is great and I don't have to rely on just gasoline. The electrical connections on the generator are perfect for what I need. The electric start is great for my wife when she would need the generator. Just need some help uncrating the generator as I am just getting over busted ribs and a broke back.

I purchased in September 2021, delivery was as promised, but the box was destroyed, fortunately the Generator was in perfect shape. I just recently put it together added oil and started with propane, i only plan to use propane with this generator. The product worked as expect now we just wait for the first power outage.
