I chose this generator to take advantage of the 50 amp capability since I have to supply power to a well pump during power outages. I went back and forth with the WGen7500DF due to overall fuel consumption, but it came down to wanting the 50 amp NEMA14-50R receptacle. I have not had a chance to run it in a real backup scenario yet, but I believe I will be prepared. I love all of the features that are included, like the electric and remote start and the 4 power ports. Assembly was very easy, and I used their supplied oil as break in. I would have given it an excellent review, but I have not had a chance to run it long term. In addition, one of the nuts for one leg seemed to be "over welded" so I could not get the bolt to engage. I used a temporary tie wrap and will have to run a thread tool through it to clean it up when I get the time. All in all, so far, so good.

The build quality and accessories are better than anticipated. The generator look to be well built and accessories that are optional on other products are included. I also like the instructions for changing the generator bonding being included in the instructions. This is required if you plan on connecting to your breaker panel directly.

This generator is a monster, and can easily power the 10 circuits I have powered to the transfer switch. With such large power capacity, I may power even more of my house. The features are great being able to run off 2 fuel sources. This will definitely come in handy if gas can't be found after a hurricane. Starts easily with the push of a button or a remote. I've powered devices directly from the generator and it handled it without blinking. This generator was clearly designed by someone who was thinking of every feature they could possibly want to supply power to their home in the event of a power outage. Definitely an excellent price for all the features.

I have 4 generators in the gen. shack at my off-grid camp; I've had nothing but bad luck trying to keep them maintained and running. I finally had enough and search the internet for a solid portable generator with great reviews. My research pointed me to the Westinghouse WGen9500DFc. It was the right one for the purpose.

Was looking for a propane generator and came across this gem. I have not tried it out yet, but it arrived within 24 hours after online purchase and was brand new in box, unopened and undamaged. Really easy to set up with the wheels to move around. Just finished doing my registration for the 3 year manufacturer warranty. All seems really good to go with this purchase.

I bought this generator to hook up to my 250 gallon propane tank so I wouldn't have to run to buy gasoline every time there was a storm. This generator was perfect for what I wanted to do. I love that it was easy to assemble and programming the remote start button was a breeze. Instructions were easily understood and I got the generator out of the box and running in about 20 minutes. Started on the first try ran smooth and was quieter than I thought it Waukesha be for a 12500 watt generator. The wheels are sturdy and the handle folds up to move the generator. It's not heavy and rolls easy. Looks like a quality piece of machinery that I will get years of use out of.

I am impressed with this Generator right out of the box. Super easy to assemble the wheel and rubber foot kit. the fold down handle is perfectly balaced for rolling the unit into place. Rugged build, clear well-organized control panel with lots of outlets from 20a to 50a. Filled it with oil [supplied] and non-ethanol fuel [best to use] hooked up the battery [so easy] flipped the choke to ON, pushed the starter button and it fired right up!! After less than a minute in 40 degree temps, the choke automatically released and the engine ran smoothly and powerful. NA the noise level was not as loud as my old generator. I'm happy so far and will keep y'all posted if this thing fails but I can tell it is a good unit.

We bought this generator a few months ago and it was a life saver. We had a hurricane come through and we lost power for 5 days in 98 degree heat. This generator is so easy to start and it ran 2 refrigerators and a full size freezer as well as 2 stand alone portable ac units. We would have lost everything. This generator did not disappoint.

Like the unit, but it was extremely annoying and disconcerting to turn the gas valve on for the first time and have fuel leak all over my fingers. Now I will have to order a new part and drain the gas tank on a brand new, never been used generator. Manual needs to be corrected. Feet do not install as shown. Holes are perpendicular to support bar, not parallel as shown. (page 11 ASSEMBLY) This being said, I was pleased the way it started right up and ran in below freezing temperature.

Just received this generator and was packaged well. Easy to read instructions. Putting the feet and wheels on was simple. Once I leaned it on it's side to put feet on I also put one wheel on . Propped it back up placed the other wheel on with very little effort. Added oil and used it first with Propane to try. Started up right away with remote. Easy to move around with handle. So far great product.
