In rural Oklahoma, we often lose power, sometimes for days after a big storm. This generator replaces two other generators that didn't do as much as this one! It starts like a dream with the electric starter, and the dual fuel option is great; if we can't buy Gasoline, we can always attach it to our Propane.

I bought the generator online. It took over 2 weeks to deliver in the Houston area. The generator and its parts were in good shape visually. The instructions were clear to assemble feet and wheels, but it did take a while because the generator is heavy. I appreciate the hoses provided. Unfortunately, I haven't tried it on yet since I forgot to buy a gas can. My only concern is whether it will fit in my car for transportation.

I pull are large travel trailer by myself and needed something to run it off grid. It ;arrived timely, was easy to assemble and the key fob works great. My 70+ year shoulders couldn't pull the cord on the old generator anymore. The only poor planning was the 50Amp plug-in location. The wheel prevents the non-flexable 50 amp trailer cord from plugging in and staying in. I've ordered a short cord 50 amp to 50amp adapter. If it works ad well as I hope I will up my rating to 5 stars.

After researching a number of generators I decided to go with the Westinghouse because two of my neighbors owned similar models and recommended the brand. The instructions were user friendly and the wheels were relatively easy to install considering the bulk and weight of the product. What impressed me was the easy starting mechanism and the level of noise was far less than I expected.

I've only had this unit for a few days and I'm currently breaking it in at the moment. So I didn't want to give it 5 stars just yet. What I can tell you is that it's simple to set up. Only need to attach the 2 legs and 2 wheels with the tools provided then add oil that comes with it as well. The key Fob was also easy to program as well. I use both propane and gas during the break in period. I use all 3 starting methods(electric, manual, and remote) without any trouble. I'm extremely impressed at this point right out of the box.

I purchased this unit to replace a smaller generator. I picked this model for the choice of either gas or propane. I am very pleased with the ease of setup and this generator will provide enough wattage to run all house appliances and also my shop needs.

Just got the generator. Put the wheel kit on, added the oil and gas. I did let the battery charge over night. It did not want to start after several tries. Tapped on the solenoid mounted on the bottom of the carburetor and it started. Loaded it up with and air compressor. Stopped and started the generator several times, using the remote.

I bought this generator a couple of months ago and I'm very pleased with the features (dual fuel Propane and Gasoline, on-line fuel switching w/o the need to shutdown the generator, push-button and remote start, low noise (decibels), multiple outlets)

I've been looking for a generator for an extended period of time and when I found out about the Westinghouse product line, I was very impressed not only for how many features it had but was the cheapest on the market for its size. By far the best decision I made, tried starting it for the first time by using the remote key fob and immediately started right up. Good quality product.

Replaced a 14-year-old 8000/5600 generator with the 9500DF and WOW what a difference. I went from 30amp house panel input to 50amp house panel input and can now run multiple high draw amp items without tripping internal generator breakers. Quality of item, electric start, included battery charger, included propane hose are fantastic. Two friends have seen the generator and my panel setup and are buying one of these.
