For some reason we have multiple power outages each year both in the summer and winter. We were tired of losing food every time, or having to keep buying bags of ice trying to save food while being miserable and sweaty in the summer. I also work from home often and if we don't have power, I can't work and don't get paid..bought this generator to take care of that, and after breaking it in and changing the oil it's at the ready. Came highly recommended from a few coworkers that bought the same one, and I can see why - especially love the built in charger port for the battery.

This generator is perfect for our needs. We have occasional power outages. This generator has the capacity to run all of our essentials and then some. All of the necessary items to put it together were sent such as tools and oil. It was a breeze.

I have had this generator for almost a year now. We just had a big storm. The power been out for four days now. I have been running the generator for about twelve hours a day. Has not used any oil. Gas tank is plenty big so it could run all day without refueling plenty of power to run my well pump, septic pump and the whole house. I have 200 amp service.

After researching and reading dozens of generators reviews, plus visiting stores to physically see available generators, we continued to come back to this model from Westinghouse. It provides ample power for our needs, has decent running time, and the remote start is a bonus! The only feature we're missing is an oil gauge.

Generator arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected. Delivery service called and shared generator was ready to unload. The driver unloaded the generator and rolled it all the way to the garage door. The manual and product registration easy to understand and submit.

I bought this a little over a month ago, and it seems to be up to the task for everything I have asked of it so far. I haven't hooked it up to major appliances yet, but I have used it to power multiple power tools and compressors and it seems to work great. It does seem to start easier when using propane, rather than gas, but that could just be my generator. It runs well on both. The only concern I have is whether or not the plastic wheels will hold up in the long run. Time will tell on that.

I live in Florida and a generator is a "must have" if you want to be prepared. i have a inverter generator but wanted something bigger that could handle more load. I wanted a dual run generator so i would not have to solely rely on gas. I compared several models and this Westinghouse has everything i wanted,50 amp outlet, remote start , dual fuel, gas and propane ,12,500 peak watts,9500 running watts. This will definitely help me be better prepared!

Easy to set up after reading the instructions. Started up great with the remote after a slight delay. PG&E will be turning off our electricity for a few hours soon but hope we won't need it and they finish their work fast. Glad we now have the peace of mind of having this generator for emergencies. A friend recommended this one to us and glad she did!

I love this generator. Great features and plenty of power to run our house if the need arises. Tested it on propane so as not to have to worry about gas in the unit although would likely use gas if needed. Plenty of outlet options and the 50 amp connection is perfect for my transfer switch. Highly recommended!

Bought this after Hurricane Beryl even though we didn't loose power. My mom lost power for 4 days and had a generator and knew after that we needed one. This will run all I need including our well. We have only hooked it up to propane to see if it works and worked right away.
