We searched on the internet and we thought that this model had the most competitive price for the features offered. It is very convenient to be able to use either propane gas or gasoline to power the generator. The service was also good and the product arrived when it was promised.

I just recently purchased this generator. Startup instructions were precise and easy to follow. I have only run it for a few hours. So far it is performing up to my expectations. I would recommend this generator if it meets the load limits that you require.

We live in Florida near the coast, so naturally a generator is a good insurance policy. We purchased a Westinghouse WGen 9500DFc. I had read fantastic reviews about the generator and the Westinghouse brand. This machine is as sturdy as they come. It's a relatively quiet operation, easy start and the duel fuel is a huge plus. If needed, we can use gas for a little extra power, but propane is a great back up plan. I love the push button start/stop since I'm a little older and rip cords/cranks are a bit much.

We bought this generator for a dual purpose, home backup and for dry camping in our 42' fifth wheel camper. the auto start feature is awesome, as is the auto choke, for when needed. with the dual fuel capabilities, we can use it on propane when in our camper, or with gasoline while in a standby mode for power outages at home. The different outlets and amperage available allow us to access the power we need,anytime, anywhere. The handy battery charge/ maintainer was a pleasant surprise, as there will be times where it will not be used, and keep our battery up. the pull start feature lets us have power available, in case of a battery failure. Long running times on either gasoline or LPG is one of many reasons we selected this model. the Westinghouse name, reputation, and reviews sealed the deal for us!

I been searching for a Generator here in Texas since our Power Outage last Winter. Was very excited to finally decide on this Westinghouse 9500DF.. I just received it today, took 10 Minutes top open it and put a couple of parts on it and it started right up.. Love the electric start!

Prayers answered. Last year during hurricane Ida my previous generator failed. The quality of my Westinghouse generator is obviously superior! When I told my electrician I wanted a hookup to power my whole home with my new portable generator, he looked skeptical and doubtful about doing that. Then I showed him my new WGen9500DF and he was impressed. He confirmed it would be no problem for this generator to power my whole home. Hallelujah! This is not your typical portable generator. Get one for yourself today!

I am very impressed with this generator in its build quality and features. It comes with all you need to hook up propane, which I plan to use as an emergency backup in case of not having any fuel. Everything is built solid, and the electric start is a very nice thing to have. I haven't encountered bad weather yet, so I haven't tested it yet. However, I believe it will work well and keep my family safe.

Westinghouse WGen9500DF was delivered well packaged and in excellent condition. Put it together and had it running inside an hour; just follow instructions. One concern I would say is the 10W-30 oil provided was not enough to completely fill the generator. . This is a very nice machine and well built. Pulls the rated wattage (only ran gas so far). The generator was easy to start and runs much quieter than our current generator it replaced. Customer service is excellent, answering questions before purchase and after purchase concern we had with the quantity of oil provided. Customer service sent another bottle to top off the oil properly. So far I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Can't wait to use it on our next power outage but hope it doesn't come to soon!!

Purchased the unit 6 months ago. Used it on propane until i could get a plumber out to hook it up to natural gas. Discovered an issue with the hose for the natural gas. Attempted to file a warranty claim and was denied because I no longer have the receipt

This is the 2nd Westinghouse generator that I have purchased. My first generator was the WGen9500 without dual fuel capability. I used that generator for a year and decided I really wanted the dual fuel model. These generators have a lot of features for the money; especially power for the price. I wanted the 50 amp plug to use for home back up power. The only disappointment I have about these generators is the THD rating: Total Harmonic Distortion is 23%. This rating is noticeably higher than most other brands I have had in the past. Overall, the generator is a great value and I was pleased with it enough to buy another. This generator will power most everything I need in my home during an outage; 2 refrigerators, 2 portable a/c's, a window a/c; home furnace. lights and some kitchen appliances. The remote start feature is actually quite handy too.
