I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this model. I like its flexibility - 3 ways to start and 3 options for fuel for a reasonable price. It arrived yesterday and I was able to assemble it myself (I am a 70 year old woman). It was fun! The instructions were clear and the packaging was well-designed.

Gave my old 20 year old generator to my son just so I could rationalize buying a new one. Decided on the 9500df and couldn't be happier. Great features: dual feed, electric start, and plenty of power for the entire house when needed. Unboxing and setup a breeze. Definitely would recommend.

I got my generator this week and have not been able to run it through a real life scenario as of yet. It did start and ran smooth on initial test. I would have liked either an "initial setup" page or if it exist, an easier way to find it, i couldn't locate such info. Sure, it wasn't difficult, but the concern is doing it correctly, by this manufacturers instruction. Push button and remote start are great features!

I bought this generator in a October of this year and I'm very pleased with this product. I really like all the plug in options, I like the push button start, the remote start, I like that it's dual fuel, so I can either run gasoline or propane, it's quieter than I expected it to be, and it powered all the appliances and amenities that I needed with ease. I will definitely recommend this product to family and friends.

I bought this unit to tie in directly with my natural gas line. Upon opening the box, it was set up in 30 minutes and ready to test within the hour. I bought this for Hurricane Season in Louisiana and am hopeful if having to use it, it will be for a short period of time. Hooking up to Natural Gas will be a great alternative versus storing regular gasoline.

I just received my new generator and set it up to run on natural gas piped into my house. I made the connection and followed Straat up instructions and it ran as described. It was actually quieter than I expected. I would have ran it longer, but could not move it easily as the hardware kit for the wheels and supports did not ship in the box. I called customer service in a Sunday and made contact. Parts should be on teh way soon.

I bought this a few days ago and already had the pleasure of using it due to power outage that happens all the time in my neighborhood. I was tired of being without power along with only 5 other houses in my very large neighborhood. The generator works great

I received this today and it was easy to set up. A few minor glitzes in the threads of the feet I had to put on (they weren't smooth and had to be screwed in backwards to fix that, then screwed in the correct way). Also, the battery was improperly seated so I fixed that. But once that was done, it was easy to set up, fill with oil, and power up. I used Propane and it was an easy start. Loved that the key fob was already paired and that is wonderful. Also love the power, the digital readout, and the included battery charger.

After a long and intense research I decided for the WESTINGHOUSE WGEN9500DFc, I think it was a great choice not only the quality is off the charts, but the assembly process was super simple, this people thought about everything, instructions were very clear, and after servicing the equipment all I had to do was to use the remote to start and boom working like a charm. I've used a couple times already and and it is as easy as turn on a switch, let me tell the only thing that I would improve and is not because is wrong is just to make easier, the servicing process is a little cumbersome because it does not have a meter for the oil level so you have to pour a bit and measure, pour more and measure again when if you could have a level or bubble or something. Thats it but you only service once every couple of years depending of the use so is not a big deal. In general I love it and definitely recommend this to anyone.

I just bought this unit after struggling for a few years with an older gas only unit. Arrived nicely packaged on a pallet. It was easy to assemble and prep for startup. I plan to run primarily with propane, and this was an easy setup process too. Ran the unit for a few hours with varying loads to break it in and it is now ready to run through my transfer switch. Couldn't be happier with this investment.
