I recently purchased my WGen9500DF generator. Power outages are common in my area and I needed something to help maintain our home needs. Everything has been very easy from installing the wheels to first start up. It is everything I need for my home, and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a backup power source.

Totally surprised on the quality of this 12500/9500 generator. The control panel is so convenient with all the information and access you need. I did a lot of research on several generators and kept coming back to the Westinghouse and so glad I did.

Purchased just recently. Was easy to set up. Added oil and tested on propane. Have not had a power outage yet but am ready to go. Am pleased that I can run on propane and avoid issue of stale gas. Box was missing wireless remote starter. I contacted Westinghouse and am hopeful they will send me one. With our transfer switch nearly installed I will be so grateful to be able to power critical ciruits in house namely furnace, frig/freezer, several lights/outlets, and internet.

Bought this Generator 2 weeks ago, arrived this week. Very easy to assemble, everything you need was included (including oil and wrench) took me about an hour and half to fully assemble and get running, that was taking my time and reading everything twice. I love the idea of having the dual fuel, I'm planning on getting a 100lb propane tank as my main fuel source. Can't wait to lose power again, this time I'm ready.

I just got this generator in and after unboxing it I read through the owners manual and was amazed at how well it was written and good illustrations, very little work needed to finish assembling the generator. After adding oil and gas and checking the battery for a charge i hit the starter and after a couple of cranks it started right up and powered up the fans I was using to check for power drain. This generator is well made and user friendly no complaints from my end.

Was looking for an affordable generator with dual fuel capabilities. This generator was perfect for what I wanted and needed. Love the dual fuel option. This is the first generator that I have bought that uses propane. If you have not tried a propane generator you are missing out! Hooked it up with the provided hose to my grill tank and fire right up. Love this thing!

I bought this generator due to the variety of features. The important features for me were the quick connect battery, 4 120 outlets, 30 and 50 A connectors, smart switch ready, and the ability to switch between gas and propane. The setup was very quick and easy. I hooked up and let it run for about an hour with the items that I will want to run during power outages and the generator performed very well. Overall it is a very impressive generator.

I purchased the Westinghouse WGen9500DF generator for home backup power and to run any power tools on our acreage. It always starts every time whether electronically or with the pull start. I have yet to find anything wrong with it, and it's super easy to transport. The remote start to me is a huge plus. Also the fact that it's dual fuel and can use propane and gas is perfect for emergencies. We use propane so we can store fuel long term, and also couple it with our large home propane tank. I used it during the last power outage to power our freezer and it went without a hitch. I would recommend this generator to anyone who needs home backup power or any kind of portable usage for power usage.
