After serious research we decided on this product and happy that we did. The overall power and two fuel options really make the difference. Just in time for some serious weather that has power outage potential. Even though we can't hardwire in at this time the option to do so to run the entire home is awesome. Even though the unit is pretty heavy its easy to move with the wheels and the size is smaller and more compact than I expected. Some reviews said it was loud but it doesn't seem too bad for what you're getting in power return. Planning on having this generator for years to come for whatever emergency arises.

I just bought this generator for the winter months. My neighbor recommended it to me because it powered his whole house during the power outage last winter. It has worked perfectly fine for him and it has been working perfectly fine for me. The remote start feature as well as the option to switch to propane are so convenient to have!

Just received the WGen9500DF generator. A little smaller than I had envisioned (good) but still looks like a very well made workhorse. Very pleased with the instructions and included literature. "Some assembly required" is right but the manual details extremely well. Packaging was great, well thought out and very protective, it could have suffered a lot of abuse during shipping and still been perfect coming out of box. Included in the box: Oil, wheels, propane adapter hose, remote start fob and ac adapter cable to keep battery charged when not in use. (It even came with a great oil funnel!) Toughest part of assembly was putting wheels and legs onto frame (you will need two people) but instructions were great and very clear. The manual includes a service schedule that uses the engine hour meter for when certain activities are required. Haven't used in a power outage yet but was pleasantly surprised that the engine meter shows both total run time (cumulative) as well as run time for current session (start to stop).

Just moved to NC and was told I'd need a generator at some point or other. Received the generator and after about 20-30 minutes I was in business. Putting it together was a piece of cake. After turning it on, plugged in the essentials and no problems. Bring on the storms

After two weeks of having this generstor we got a bad storm and lost power. Within minutes it was powering the whole house. Love the trifuel flexibility. This thing is solid as a rock. I am happy with my purchase and looking forward to using it for many years to come. Setup took 5 minutes. Was very easy, they give you everything you need!

I purchased another generator at first and found out it didn't have the features I was looking for. Found this generator and it has exceeded my expectations. I have enough power to run the majority of stuff in my house and an added bonus is the remote start feature.

I bought the WGen9500DF earlier this week and it got delivered right on time. I unboxed it and set it up this weekend. This is my first generator, however, I have assembled numerous pieces of equipment. This was pretty straight forward. I did have to add additional 10W30 oil than what was supplied to get the oil to register correctly on the dipstick. I connected in the battery charger while I read the instructions thoroughly. Once I was ready, I connected a 20 lb. propane tank and the system fired up on the first start button push! I ran it for 30 mins with no load. Voltage looked good and held steady at 240V. The Hertz ran a little high (>62) at times though I expect this to change once it is under load. Happy so far and now prepared for the first winter storm, if needed.

I am very excited to receive my new toy, I think it was a smart purchase that gives us peace of mind and back up the electric power before inclement weather and grid power failures which we have already had. Remember that this is not a luxury, it is a necessity and for the peace of mind of the home and my family.

I bought this to use in emergencies when electricity is out. I unboxed it and the small amount of assembly was easy. Very easy start with remote. Good instructions except no mention of turning on fuel line. Hopefully I will not need it but I feel confident it will do the job.

I just purchased this item and it arrived early. After an easy set up I hooked up the propane following the instructions and fired it up with no problems. Very simple to operate and I specifically bought this unit for the dual fuel option. I like the ease of use and hopefully I won't need it for an emergency this year's hurricane season.
