I bought this a week ago for when the power goes out. We lost power a few months ago for a few days and lost all the food and it was 48 in the house. We will be able to keep the food in the freezer, hot shower, and heat/AC next time we loose power.

Just purchased for 100% off-grid power. Easy setup and quick start. For the price compared to other brands, you get more power, more outlets and better (plastic) tires...and you're going to need them as this thing is practically immovable without them.

This is powerful for the price. Well built. Good quality. Starts easy with propane. Will not cold start with gasoline. I use plus gas but it will not cold start. After running with propane for a half hour, I can turm it off , switch to gas and then it starts. Assembly was easy. Also the gas gauge does not show any level. Even so I purchased a second one for my son. Same issue with no cold start using gasoline. But the power and price for propane is good.

The generator arrived promptly according to their delivery schedule securely packaged. Assembly (wheels and feet) was quite easy and the duel fuel option will allow for greater use in extreme instances. The operation and maintenance directions were easy to easy to understand. I have only given four stars at this time because I have not actually started and used it as of yet and so cannot provided information regarding it's running condition and performance. However, it appears to be a sturdy and quality build and if it works as well as it looks this generator will exceed more than my expected needs. I am looking forward to giving it a test run.

I just purchased this item last week, after a 37 hour power outage the previous week. I was delivered in only four days. We won't have to throw out any more food. My wife convinced me to purchase a generator, and I'm sure I bought the right one. It has plenty of power and great features. I plan to use propane because it is convenient to store. With a transfer switch I will be able to provide power to most of our first floor living area, including a furnace. Thanks for your great product.

I can't give a full review except I put about 10 minutes of gas in it and plugged in a power tool to test it. It started right up using the electric start. The power tool didn't show up on the volt meter. The display is a little cheesy. It also read 62 Hertz. with no load. Other than the volt/hour/hertz display being sub par, knowing some low priced generators offer an app. I'm quite happy. I wasn't able to put it under a heavy load or run it for a long period of time. I do plan to use the 50 amp plug to supply my house during an outage. In conclusion the generator is a beauty. It was quieter than my 3500w generator and It appears to be very well built. I couldn't find a generator to match it for this price. Please Westinghouse with all that beauty, I pray for reliability when the time comes. Don't fail me. Reliability is key. Otherwise I just bought a beautiful piece of junk.

Like the generator but the offer for a free cover for this review was rescinded due to limited quantity. For that reason alone I would not purchase anything else from this company. There are many other quality products out there but very few companies that are not cheap.

I bought this as a back up for my home electrical system. I like the idea of having the dual power, so I didn't have to rely on one type of fuel. The electric and remote start are very good features. No problem running my furnace, sump pump, heater, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, gas dryer, etc. After all, this is a must for your home!

I bought this to power a RV with 2 a/s units. It doesn't even grunt when the compressors kick in. The remote key fob start is definently a plus. I think this one will last a long time as it is very rugged. I might also add it is a heavy unit so plan on having help if you need to load it. I am happy with it so far.

Setup: Easy to attach wheels and feet. Read the instructions...you will learn a lot, especially if you are a first time generator user! Connection: You will need to provide the power cord...regardless of hookup (direct to/from indoor appliances, or to an outdoor connection). An important element, but very simple. Use: I love the remote start feature...this and the dual-fuel option were the two key selling points for me. The handle extends to provide easy movement to/from your connection point...and while the unit is heavy, when on wheels it feels very light. Maintenance: Access is simple...and we have only used it for one season so I have not yet done any maintenance.
