I bought this generator with the intentions of powering everything in my house. During the last hurricane I wasn't able to run my well pump because I had a smaller generator. Well, this generator will run the pump and the water heater at the same time as well as lights and refrigerator with wattage to spare.

We went through the deep freeze in Texas earlier this year and don't want to do that again. After a lot of research and reading reviews, we feel confident the WGen9500DF will meet our needs should that happen again. The unit is well built and solid. The manual is easy to read and understand, which is definitely helpful. Considering the size and power of the generator, the noise level is not bad. Easy to move with good solid wheels, this is a generator that should serve us well for years.

I just bought this a week ago and so glad I did friends of mine have different males and models and now wish the bought this one anyone hesitant about buying this one don't be easy to put together and runs awesome on gas or propane highly recommend.

This is our first time buying a generator to power our house. After unpacking, adding oil (included along with funnel) and gas, we pushed the button on the remote start and it started up immediately. Several days later we are running it for the break in and it started right up again. It appears to be a solid unit. Also, happy to receive a free cover as a bonus!

I ordered the Gen9500DF because of the features it offers. I plan on using it for backup power for my home during power outages. I will use it with a transfer switch to directly power my home. Have not used it yet as I just received it. It came complete just as advertised.

Just got it and set it up so longevity unknown but no reason to think it won't last. Looks like it is well built and came with everything needed. It is not one of those quiet generators but I'm not worried about that. Was easy to get set up to run and seems fairly simple to operate

Just recently arrived. Shipped in perfect condition. Everything you need to get started is in the box. Setup was quick and easy. Controls and plug ins are perfect! Cranked right up. Started with gas and easily switched to propane. No issues. Have only plugged a few things into it but it powered everything beautifully without any strain. I think I'm going to love it!!!!

I purchased a new generator with Hurricane season kicked off and living in the south close to the gulf coast.My old one was ready to retire.This is my first propane and gas run Great Feature! The manual that came with the Gen broke down the start verses run wattage in easy to understand terms. Well worth the price

I bought this generator about 5 months.It was a big investment.On a generator that will sit until an emergency arises and boy did it.I did research on this and I want a multi fuel generator .I needed something thats going to handle whatever I can throw at it.since I have 2 year old twins and a 3 year old including my wife and I.With heavy winds and power going out and not getting fixed for atleast 3 days.The generator worked way more than expected.It took everything I threw at it and could've took more..Perfect ,awesome great generator.Now I won't have to worry about power going out anymore.

Did a lot of research before I made my purchase and so happy we went with a Westinghouse generator. The one we got is dual fuel, starts with a push button and tells us the fuel levels. We will definitely be prepared the next time Austin has another snow storm and we lose electricity. Can't wait to use it!
