Just got this today and I am impressed with the apparent quality. Well packaged and on a small pallet. Fired up on butane and ran smooth. You won't forget that it's running, but I knew that going in. My only complaint was that the unit was delivered and put at the end of my driveway.

Arrived undamaged. Took about 15 minutes to set up. Filled with oil and gas and oppened full valve. Waited about 1 minute for gas to fill fuel bowl. Pressed the started button and it started up and followed breaking instructions. The 9500 is heavy and a little louder than expected but very happy with the overall performance. Would decently recommend to anyone that need a good size generator to power whole house.

I bought this generator after a hard freeze and the loss of power. Unfortunately, I had damage to my pool and decided I'm not going to be without a generator again. After much reseach, I chose this Westinghouse WGen9500DF because of it's features and the fact that I can use propane or gas. Set up was easy. I have started the generator using propane and let it run for a few minutes. It ran fine. I have not started it on gas, but sure it will be fine.

I purchased this generator one month ago to use if a hurricane comes through and we are out of power. The great feature besides being well made is that I am able to run the generator on propane or gasoline. I especially like the electric start and that I will be able to power up just about my entire house which is all electric.

After a series of storms caused extended power outages in my area I decided to get a portable generator large enough to run my entire house. The 9500 DF has sufficient power to meet my needs. The dual fuel option is a great selling point and this appears to be a well made machine,

I bought this to run my whole house minus the AC and it performs like a BEAST. it's very easy to setup and get going. The propane option option was what sealed the deal for me. I am able to hook up a 100lb tank and get 40+ hours of continuous run time. Ihighly recommend this generator.

Easy to set up after reading the instructions. Started up great with the remote after a slight delay. PG&E will be turning off our electricity for a few hours soon but hope we won't need it and they finish their work fast. Glad we now have the peace of mind of having this generator for emergencies. A friend recommended this one to us and glad she did!

This generator has performed flawlessly from day one. I keep the battery on a constant charge from a nearby outlet and perform a test run once each month. It has served as a virtual whole-house generator during two separate blackouts, one of which required it to run continuously for almost 3 days. The 50 amp output has been sufficient for 2 refrigerators, washer/dryer, microwaves, assorted small appliances and a houseful of lights. The only downsides are that it is loud, and also not easily moved around due to its heft and the rigid wheels. I've only used it with gasoline, but it did test without a hitch using my BBQ's propane tank, a big plus if I ever need to use that feature.

This generator is well designed and constructed, This is a complete package with all needed to startup. Even assembly tools were provided. I love the duel fueling option, which represents a true backup for various situations that may inhibit getting energy needed.
