I am known to research purchase items extensively. Living mostly full time now in a rural area due to COVID-19, I decided I needed to increase the size of my generator from 5500 watts to something that would run most everything I would need in case of power failure. My research told me this fit the bill. I ordered online and received it quickly and in great shape. Took only about 20 minutes to assemble and fired it up with Propane for a test run. This was a wise investment on my part. I am very impressed with fit and finish and ease of operation. I now have peace of mind that we will do quite well with this new generator in the event of power failure. Thanks for a great product Westinghouse.

I just received my generator a few days ago and assembled it today. The instruction manual was easy to read and understand with plenty of details. I was able to assemble it by myself without assistance though it is quite heavy. It has a lot of features...especially the 50 amp output which I am connecting to my house (electrician is really). It definitely is a heavy duty unit!

We (thankfully) haven't had to use it for any length of time yet, but I am happy with my purchase and feel it will do great. - Setup took about 15 minutes - Easy startup (manual and remote) - Much quieter than my previous (20 year old) generator - Great compact design - Easy to move

Unfortunately, once I unboxed my generator and set it up, I could not get it to start. I am in the process of working with Westinghouse to get it serviced and running. Very unusual for a Westinghouse product. I own a previous model of the generator and it has ran flawlessly for 8 years.

The generator has lived up to expectations. I am an airline pilot so when the power goes out I am usually not home so my wife has to set up the generator and the best feature is the Push to Start. I trust Westinghouse products because my father-in-law was a mechanical engineer for them for 30 years.

Just took delivery of your fine product and want to commend Westinghouse for providing the quality I expect from a product made in USA. The machine is very nicely engineered and even the documentation is printed on quality paper, is written in PROPER EDITED ENGLISH and performs wonderfully for the purpose intended. I highly recommend this product.

We bought this after our winter storm of the century in Texas. We decided we're not getting caught like that again. This generator has features others don't have and it's at a better price. The generator looks well made and sturdy. It also has the Westinghouse name, that's a lot in it's self! Next, having a transfer switch installed. This generator should run the whole house. We'll be ready for that next century storm.

Not my first Hurricane, not my first Rodeo. Having a good generator is key for living comfortably after the storm. Been without power for 2-3 weeks after some storms. I am happy to finally have duel fuel unit because gasoline can be hard to find after the storm but propane is usually plentiful.

The battery was DOA and will not charge and not hold a charge. Once its started its good but not the easiest to start with the pull cord. Very frustrating as my dad is 80 and not able to use the remote start or the push button. We need to ask the neighbor to start it for him. Once running, it has lots of power. Hope WH will help with the batt issue

The unit was easy to put together. Just add fuel and oil. It started up and I'm 2 hours into the 50% load break in period. Looking forward to trying it out under a normal load. So far I couldn't be happier. One of my coworkers bought the same 9500DF unit a year ago and has had only good things to say about his experience.
