I tested the generator yesterday and except for a defective fuel gauge. It has a lot more features than my previous generator (which Westinghouse will immediately replace) and it ran well and easily fulfilled my emergency power requirements. It has a lot more features than my previous generator and is very easy to use.

Like many I've been left without power too many times by storms and I wanted a portable generator that could run on natural gas to avoid having to search for fuel which becomes scarce quickly in emergencies. It was easy to assemble and started on the first try. I've only run it on natural gas, but don't plan to use the other fuels. The hose for connecting to natural gas is included, as well as one for propane. It's quite heavy, but much easier to move around than I expected with the included wheels and handles. It's as loud as expected - similar to other units in its size. I was impressed with how clean it runs on natural gas compared to the gasoline unit I borrowed during our last event.

This is a great alternative other than spending thousands of dollars on a whole home generator. I like the built-in plug for the battery charger and the remote start feature. Having the option for gas or propane was actually the reason I purchased this but the other features or a nice bonus.

I purchased this recently and what a quiet, reliable generator! Right out of the box and 15 minutes later I was up and running! George Westinghouse, back in 1886 would really be proud of this unit! The dual fuel option is of course an added bonus! Great job Team Westinghouse!

I bought this Westinghouse Generator in May 2024 for use at our outdoor wedding. It Great features did what was expected: worked fabulous for my outdoor wedding all the music and lighting lasting the anticipated 12 hours. It has since provided me with electric on remote areas of my farm. I'm very happy to have made this investment. My only negative is the weight of the generator. Michele

Bought this unit as backup in case electrical goes out this winter. We have 2 elderly people living with us who do not do well when disruptions occur. The unit was easy to set up, took maybe 20 mins to get it ready. As this is a gas/propane unit- I decided to use the propane side of things. Got everything set correctly and the unit started running immediately. This unit will come in handy. It appears to be well made and is extremely easy to use.

I picked up my new Westinghouse generator today and got it all unpacked and setup. I am extremely impressed with the packaging, design, and ease of assembly. I will be using this as a home generator as we get power outages frequently in Utah. I own other Westinghouse generators and I am overly impressed with quality and reliability.

We had an ice storm a year ago, and I made the decision to have a transfer switch installed and then went through the complicated process for deciding exactly which generator to run when it hit the fan. After a lot of research, we came up with this model a WGEN 9500 DFC. It has enough voltage to run just about everything I need with ease, startup was quite simple for someone who had never used one before so I would definitely recommend this unit if you have the money to spare.

This impressive generator is an upgrade from a gasoline only 5.5 kW unit we have had since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. That unit has served us well but hunting for gas has been a struggle every time. The WGen came highly recommended and unboxing it I can see why. It has an amazing list of features and solid build quality that I have come to appreciate after living on standby power many times. Installing the wheels and feet was straight forward and easy with the included tools. After adding the oil shipped with it, I started and ran it on propane and natural gas using the hoses shipped with it. The control panel layout is intuitive and useful. The data center meter displaying voltage/frequency/run hours/and maintenance timer is my second favorite feature after the tri-fuel capability. I also appreciate the muffler and exhaust system. We feel a sense of relief and security knowing we have this solid source of electricity ahead of the next storm season.

I ordered this unit 9-4-23 and received it 9-8-23. I unboxed and installed the wheels and mounting feet, filled with oil and gasoline and it started and ran on the first attempt. Won't be able to check it on propane until next week when I receive my 30 lb propane tank. It did have a boo boo from shipping and the fuel gauge don't seem to be working but have a call in on that and a case number. They said a representative would give me a call after the weekend. I'm well pleased with the unit overall so far.
