I hesitate to leave a review after only owning something for a few days because the thing could break tomorrow. That said, so far this generator is impressive. I've fired it up a couple times and put some small loads on it and it didn't miss a beat. It runs smooth and my 21 gallon 120 volt 20 amp air compressor did not make this thing bog down when it kicked in and started running. I love the dual fuel option but haven't tried the propane yet. Easy to assemble and quick to get up and running. Sound is equivalent to others in this class and I thought was acceptable. Not too heavy and fairly easy to move around. The only issue, and it may not really be one, is the rated THC of less than 23%. I assume the 23% is the max running at capacity and if only pulling 5k watts this may be much lower. How much? I wish I knew. But there are ways to to accommodate this when plugging in sensitive electronics. All in all I definitely recommend this generator. Time will tell how long it will last, but so far so good.

I had my eye on this generator model a long time. I gotta tell ya, yup, I am so glad I finally got my hands on this particular model. So many reasons why I choose this model. There are three ways to start this generator including Remote Start (Love-It). It's a Dual Fuel machine (Love-It). It has enough Watts to power your entire house (Really Love-It). You can use it everyday for powering your construction tools. Westinghouse included everything needed except the fuel to get this genarator running and it was so-so simple to get it running. I took my time and read the entire manual before doing anything else. It's heavy but the handle and wheels make it easy to pull or push. You get the connector for the propane tank. The gas tank is metal and most other important parts are too. It has safety features like shut-off for gas and a switch that allows you to select the fuel you will use. Also a disconnect for the battery and a on/off switch and a battery charger. To me its not too loud considering how I will use it. My purpose for buying this generator is for small projects and emergency use such as a power outage. I truly feel I can keep this generator a long time running. I personally like the colors Westinghouse choose. Although the shipping box had a hole in it, it arrive undamaged. VERY PLEASED WITH THE EASE OF UNPACKING THE BOX AND HOW COMPLETE THE CONTENTS WERE TO BE ABLE TO GET IT RUNNING WITHOUT FINDING WE NEEDED SOMETHING THAT WAS MISSING ! STARTED RIGHT UP AND WAS FAIRLY QUIET TO THE POINT WHERE WE COULD NOT HEAR IT INSIDE THE HOUSE !

We bought this generator to pump our well until we have an off the grid solar system installed and later on for emergency power failure or use on our land. Its features exactly match our needs. It is easy to maneuver even though it is heavy 220 lbs. We were concerned about that because we are seniors. Starts right off. The remote control is so convenient. Dual fuel adds flexibility on choice of fuel. The transfer switch capability is an added bonus when we are older not having to worry about struggling.

Bought for emergency backup, has the 50A NEMA plug necessary to power my house. Remote start cool even though I don't know what practical purpose it serves. Super easy to switch gas/propane. Nice that it keeps cranking until it starts with just one push.

I recently purchased this generator to replace my older outdated one, and right from the directions, through the set up and into the initial start up everything went smoothly. the unit runs like a charm, fairly quiet compared to my last one. I especially like the control panel which covers everything that the unit does, with read out and warning lights. Looking forward to years of service with this unit.

I'm replacing a non-working portable generator with this one. Just rec'd yesterday. Put it together and did test run today. Started right up. So far only tested 110v, but will test 220v this weekend. Love the electric start; especially the remote start and stop. Its heavy, but I could roll it around without issue even on gravel. Happy so far!

Bought this for hurricane season in S Florida. Hope to never need it, but should run most of our house if we lose power. Having a little bit of an issue getting it to start on propane so will be reaching out to customer service reference that, otherwise, looks to be a great product.

My husband and I bought this generator to run our well pump, because it will be another month until electricity is installed on our property. We are super impressed by the design...even little things like the convenient placement of the oil cap and the gas gauge are great. The multiple outlet types will allow us to use this directly with our camper, to provide power for construction tools, and in case of a power outage. The electric start and remote start are also super handy. A great generator for the price!

We live in a rural area and lose power a few times a year. For years we've had an on and off relationship starting a Honda EG5000 to cover outages from a few hours to a few days. We needed something my wife could operate when I am away from the house and decided on a Westinghouse 9500 dual fuel. We should have done this years ago! It arrived undamaged and was easy to setup. We had it up and running on propane in 30 minutes. The pushbutton start is great! The dual fuel option lets you use gasoline or propane (without the shelf life concerns). When you compare the options for this generator and the minor setup needed to run it against the insane cost and time to install a box store auto-cutover generator it is an easy decision to buy a Westinghouse! Image assembled is included. My only suggestion is offering a cart that mounted the generator and 40 to 100 lb propane tank.
