Bought it to replace an older generator, great move right before Isaias came through, and now they're sold out or nearly twice the price from resellers. Looking forward to not having to mess around with gas any longer since it has the duel fuel option, but maintains the ability to use gas if the propane runs out.

Had electrician install a power bypass to the house panel, then powered up the WGen 9500 using both gasoline and propane. Powerful enough to run a large house with 2 refrigerators plus AC. Exactly what is called for with our rolling blackouts in California during the summer or when power crashes during winter months.

My generator just came in. It was packed first class. Everything was perfect. The instructions were very simple and starting it up on propane was very easy. I feel so much safer now For the hurricane season in front of us and any other natural disaster that may come our way.

I researched many portable generators, but none had features like: a quick battery disconnect, and trickle charge port to maintain the battery. Being able to run on gasoline or propane makes this machine much more reliable than most other generators. It was the only generator I found with both 30 and 50 amp receptacles to go along with 4-20 amp receptacles. The electric starter works flawlessly, and the data center provides the information to keep track of had on the generator and need for maintenance. The main reason we purchased this generator was for emergency power outings, so we installed a transfer switch to make sure our most important electric needs are met. This machine meets our needs easily.

Bought this a couple days ago, with winter coming up I want to be prepared. So we took it camping with us to power our travel trailer to make sure everything worked properly. Had the best weekend, generator performed as should and was actually more quiet than I was expecting, so that was a plus! Would recommend!

Bought it as a back up to power the house essentials. Propane option and remote start make it easy to operate. Started at the first try w/o any problem. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it. appears to be a solid build as expected (i did a lot of research prior to making the purchase)

Received from freight company in perfect condition. Straight forward instructions and minimal setup. Battery was fully charged and started right up. Also has a 50 amp plug that many others did not. Purchased it to run critical components of the house during a power outage and all initial results are that it is a perfect fit.

Recently bought this Generator. Fired up no problem on propane, but with gas it wouldn't start. I read some forums online of the float in the solenoid that's mounted to the bottom of the carburetor getting stuck preventing it from starting. I took it off, sure enough it was stuck. Freed it up with some carb cleaner, re-assembled it and it started right up.

only had the generator for a couple weeks, but she fired right up no problems, did a break in period with it using propane so I wouldn't have gas left in it during storage, I really like the dual fuel system since i always have propane around the property and can easily use the generator during an unexpected outage.

After several weeks of deliberation and reading reviews I decided on the Westinghouse generator for my purchase based on the quality, feature set, and price of this unit in that order. I have a few friends that have the westinghouse brand and they could not speak highly enough of the product. I actually borrowed one from a friend when I knew the power was going to be out for several days and had no problem running everything in my house. After delivery, I was not disappointed. This generator is built to last. Everything about it screams quality. Something as simple as a fuel shutoff being a metal petcock verses a plastic one. Up to 12 hour runtime is way above the rest, this allows me to get a full night sleep while running on generator power instead of waking up to a cold house due to running out of fuel in the middle of the night. Assembly was a breeze. Attaching wheels and legs took less than 10 minutes. I opted on 5w-30 synthetic oil since it can get quite cold in Ohio. Admittedly I have yet to fire this generator up, but based on past experience I feel like this is still a valid review.
