Seems to be great quality and well built. It was easy to set up and ran on propane just fine. However, I could not get it to run on gas at first. It was new ethanol free gas and wouldn't start or even turn over. I checked that all fuel lines were clear and it still didn't work. Finally I drained the carburetor and it started working just fine. Seems to be good now. Maybe something from the factory was still in the carb and caused it to not start. Once that was taken care of, it works as expected.

I purchased this one cause will pretty much run everything in our home. Not only that the unit has great reviews. Not all at once but will most of it. Also this one is advertised to run 12 hours at 50% load on 6.6 gal fuel. All others of same size runs no more than 9 or maybe 10 hours. Westinghouse name and products has been around for long time also. Unit looks great and seems to be well built. Has Cast Iron Sleeve to reduce Cylinder wear is a plus.

We purchased the 9500DF last year. We have been able to use this through both construction projects and weather events. Then we recently added the bypass plug on the house and it's Getting the job done for whole house electricity in our 1800 sqft. space.

Assembly was pretty easy. Oil provided was not enough to come up to proper level. Added & got to proper level. Not totally sure about bounded Nuetral but disconnected because I am using cord (14-30R), per instructions. Initial start hesitated due to battery not being fully charged. Once plugged charger in, started right up. Let it warm up then plugged in garage air compressor to put under load on each plug. Sounds quieter than expected and believe this is a good quality purchase.

Purchases this generator and fresh out of the box, does not start, oil provided with unit not sufficient per manufacture's recommended amount, add additional qt quart to make recommended amount correct. Now waiting for customer service to respond. Pulled rope, remote, or push start not powering up machine. Have to trouble shoot and use Manuel to figure out why units not starting. Spent a lot of money on this dual gas/propane's powers unit. Extremely disappointed in this purchase

This generator is a life saver, specifically in the heat of the summer. We had some nasty storms that took down some trees and left us without power. We use another brand generator and it only lasted for a day. This generator is a powerhouse. The electric start feature is a lifesaver as well as the dual fuel capabilities. You'll never find yourself running out of gas when you have a spare propane tank to run it putting it together And having it up and running was even simpler I know this generator is going to last for a long time and I can't wait to use it more often

Bought this a couple days ago, went to start it today after filling oil, and fuel; and the gen wont turn over. Pull start is also stuck which means crank is seized on a brand new unit! Seems like someone failed to test this unit in the factory before shipping.

Tested it out today! Powered everything in the house we would need if power goes out. Been thinking about getting one, this was the highest rated for what I would need. Won't need to use much, but best peace of mind purchase for the money I have ever made in 53 years!

Bought this the day before the Buffalo Blizzard, lost power the next day for two days, Generator started right up ran flawlessly in 50 MPH winds, Minus 20 wind chills, with snow coming down at a rate of 2 or 3 inches an hour. Even when we shut it down for 3 or 4 hours to conserve gas, all we had to do was manually adjust choke & it started right up.

Only have about an hour run time but certainly working as advertised! A couple issues with the manual: Unless I missed it the duration of the break in period isn't clear. The other issue is a random statement (page 15) about manipulating a "lock knob" that doesn't exist.
