Big, Bad Beast of a Generator

My biggest gripe out of the box was the exclusion of a generator cord. The battery negative cable is a pain. Make sure you hook it up before you put the wheel on! Otherwise, I'm happy. The generator fired up and caught on the second attempt. I let it run for 30 minutes without anything plugged in. Zero problems. Milton will make landfall soon and I am sure glad I upgraded to this beast. It has a big gas tank and should run all night on a fill up.

Great so far

I bought the WGen14500TFc last year. It runs like a champ and it easily powers my entire home except for central heat/air. I don't know that it wouldn't also handle the HVAC but I may consider adding a soft start before I try. It is a little noisy but I knew that going in and it is a fine tradeoff to have this level of backup power at a good price point. Right now my only recommendation to improve the generator would be for it to come with a magnetic oil drain plug.

Excellent Generator-Starts up quickly

I live in rural Georgia and power outages are quite frequent, sometimes for several days. I purchased this generator because it is powerful enough to energize my whole home to include Central heat and air. It has all the features I could ask for. Remote start and automatic power out smart start. Quite running and very fuel efficient. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great looking machine/has all the bells and whist!

This generator is an awesome buy for the price!! Just purchased it a week ago and it looks like a powerful machine!! My neighbor has a similar less powerful model and swears by it. I strongly believe that Westinghouse is an amazing brand that stands behind their products. I'll l revisit my review after I I've done a test run. Thanks

The Beast I was looking for

The quality build on this item is top notch and was packed to perfection. Not a scratch on the unit! I'm retiring my little Briggs Q6500. This will run my entire house including 4 and 3 ton ACs with soft start. I will post a follow up review once everything is connected.

Great addition to my home

I reccently purchased the Westinghouse WGen95000DFC, for home backup power. So, far I have only tested it out to make sure everything is running properly. But what impresses me the most is the seamless switch between gasoline and propane, giving me reliable run options. I also appreciate the remote and electric start features, which will be particularly useful during the harsh winter months. The CO sensor with the automatic shutdown is a really nice safety feature and gives me peace of mind

Excellent Tri Fuel Generator

I recently purchased the tri fuel generator after researching two other brands. The generator is was packaged well, study and seems to be a good build. It came with nice accessories like remote switch and 15' ft of gas hose. The ability to run on three fuel types is a plus. I can use the generator for my home during power outages with natural gas or take it camping and run it on propane or gasoline. I also like that the manual was well detailed with the maintenance schedule and a parts list. The price point and the reviews from multiple sites also helped make my decision. So far I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Perfect Model for Whole House Power Backup

After extensive research to find a generator capable of powering my 2,500-square-foot home—including the central air conditioning—the Westinghouse WGen9500DF Dual Fuel emerged as the top choice. Living in Southern California, where power outages occur from time to time, having a reliable backup power source is essential. The dual fuel capability was a key factor in my decision, as it allows the use of either gasoline or propane. I particularly value the option to use propane, which is not only safer but also easier to store for extended periods.

Normal living , grid out 4 days

Last ice storm knocked out power for 6 full days, ended up traveling 75 miles to hotel after second day ( freezing ) This time we were prepared ! Purchased a Westinghouse 9500DFc. So glad we did, this last storm / flood no power 4 days….no problem ! Hit the remote start and lights , heat, water and yes TV internet lights. Even had neighbors stay over 2 nites. Best investment you can make. Oh and two fuel gave us confidence that we could last 10 days !!
