Just received my WGen9500Fc. This is replacing an older generator. Purchased it for the increased power output but the most important to us is the electric start! As I have some physical limitations that make using a "pull start" very difficult, this was a deciding factor for us. Right out of the box, it works as advertised! My wife or I can start with a push of the button or using the "fob" that is included. This model has Excellent ratings across the internet, so these were the deciding factors. With the changing climate and the increase of severe weather conditions, this will provide the added security we want. I have it connected to our home with a transfer switch. So we are prepared. Has a more robust frame than the last generator. This would be helpful if you use it as a portable power unit. Satisfied with our decision to go with this Westinghouse unit.

Recently purchased this generator to have in case of a power outage. After being without power due to Hurricane Helen, we decided a generator would add peace of mind in case of future outages. Main usage will be to run pump on well and keep the food in our fridge from going bad. After reading about this generator, it seems to fit the need we may have in the future. Institutions for set up were easy to follow.

I bought this portable generator to repower up my house after Hurican Heleen knocked out our power for days. I didn't want to go through that again, so not knowing which generator to purchase I decided on one that comes from a great named company. These folks have been around awhile!

From packaging through assembly and features it is apparent that this product was given some thought. Details like flanged bolts for attachment of the stationary legs to the inclusion of a battery charger made me feel good about my purchase. I live in an area of frequent utility power interruptions and need a dependable alternative power source. Time will tell as to long term reliability but we are off to a good start.

I was amazed on how well it was packaged for delivery. Great looking unit. Unfortunately I haven't had to use it, since I received it due to several hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico. Will definitely get a plumber to hook up a gas line to my generator.

Living in Florida we face hurricanes and lighting storms every year. Having such a powerful and convenient generator has allowed my family and I to have less worry when situations arise that may interrupt our lives. I bought it 4 months ago. So far there was no power outage so I did not need to use it for powering my house. I use a gasoline for it. I start and run it from time to time to let it work and use it's power for outdoor light and leaf blower. One of many great futures is a remote start/stop and another is possibility of using three fuel. It is not hard to move it around thank to solid, big handle and good wheels.

Read many reviews and decided to buy the Westinghouse with 9500 running watts. It is dual fuel and comes with remote start which is good for what I need. Setup was straight forward and easy to operate when I tried it the first time. Guess I will find out how it work when next power out situation.

This is the 2nd Westinghouse generator that I have purchased. The first, which is in excellent working condition, now is owned by our daughter. I wanted the dual fuel generator which is the only reason that we bought another. The generator came packaged well with no damage and one bottle of oil is supplied along with various accessories that are needed for maintenance. Ease of assembly is great. It requires a break in period of 5 hours. I'm confident that it will work as well as the other.
