I'm glad I tried them, but would not buy these again. I'm not quite sure what I expected, but what I ended up with was an artificially sweetened (Sucralose), salty, weird maple flavored noodle. I don't generally like artificial sweeteners, but failed to read the ingredients when buying this so I didn't realize they contained the Sucralose. Also, there's a strange odor from the steam when 'slurping' the noodles that affects the flavor. Avoiding smelling that odor does help with the flavor, but there's still something off about these. 2/5 stars for convenience, concept and noodle texture. Otherwise, these are a pass.

I picked this up mostly because it sounded interesting, but I wasn't sure if it would be any good based on the mixed reviews. This review is for those of us who are interested but on the fence about it. Firstly, it isn't a soup. It's more like the yakisoba style instant noodles, which fits the flavor profile well. Yes, it is on the sweeter side because, well, it is maple syrup flavored. But that sweetness is actually balanced out with an underlying savory note, much like a regular instant noodle. The sauce has a great consistency, and the freeze-dried sausage is much better than I expected. The only thing I am not a fan of is the freeze-dried egg, but that is mostly from its slightly mushy texture. If you are someone who enjoys instant yakisoba and a sweet and savory breakfast, you might be pleasantly surprised by this find. I doubt they will have it for long, so I plan to stock up while I can!

I really like it. Didn't think I would at all but it's really good.

I hope this becomes an every day item rather than limited edition because it's absolutely fantastic! If you like spicy as I do, add in some chili maple hot sauce and enjoy!

Love these so much!!! Can’t wait until they hopefully come back into the store. I should have bought all they had. Never had such an easy delicious breakfast.
