These tires have changed the way my 25 Crosstrek drives. I love how smooth and quiet my ride is now. Have not had a chance to test on wet roads yet. But I would certainly recommend these tires. I have always gone with Michelin on all of my vehicles and the Defender 2 did not disappoint.

My first set of these tires came with the car when I bought it new. I put 55,000 miles on them before I replaced them. Back in the day, I would have driven until I had a flat, but no more. I could have put another 5 K on them, but safety first. Also the traction was a little off.

These tires changed the entire feel of our mini-van. Three years ago we tried to improve the ride when bought another brand. After getting an alignment and front-end work, the car still pulled left and right. With the new Michelins, it no longer pulls, is much quieter, and holds the road regardless of weather. We've decided to keep the car, and always use Michelins.

After purchasing the Michelin Defender 2 tires for my Lexus ES350, I have decided to get a new set for my RX350 with 245/50R20. The New Defender 2 tires have great handling performance in dry and wet weather conditions, and it also provides very quite and comfortable ride! In addition, it’s great to know that the New Defender tires will last for a very long time. I like the new tires very much and very happy with the choice I made.

I researched tires for my 2018 Nissan Rogue and read good reviews for this tire. I was looking for quiet and a smooth ride. I just drove home from the tire store and am hugely impreased with the ride! I don't know about longevity yet but am looking forward to the future.

I replaced Goodyear tires on my wife’s Acura TLX with a set of Michelin Defender2’s. I also replaced the OE Firestone tires on my mother in law’s Jeep Compass with the Michelin Defender2 tires. My wife and Mother in law immediately told me that their vehicles ride way better, handles better, and it is more quiet in their vehicles. As for the design, I love the way Michele tires look on almost all vehicles. All I can say about the construction and materials is that the tires appear to be made well. I am 53 years old and have never had a Michelin tire let me down. So I trust Michelin enough to use their tires on my family’s vehicles. I was looking for a “quiet” tire and Michelin Defender II answered the call. Because of excessive “road noise” I was hearing AFTER I replaced my tires three year ago I thought I needed new rear wheel bearings. Due to the cost, I “road it out” with the last set of tires. Recently I decided to get new tires then replace the bearings. I drove a block on the new Michelin Defender II’s and amazingly the “road noise” was gone! I highly recommend Michelin Defender II if your looking for a quiet and dependable tire.

Bought as a replacement for Primacy AS. The Primacy were down to 4/32 by only 33K miles. The defender 2's were louder and not nearly as good in the wet. Also not a fan of the sidewall near the tread. Probably looks good on an SUV, but no so much on a sedan. A bit rugged looking. Exchanged for the Primacy AS again... i'll deal with them not lasting as long for a smoother quieter ride and more confidence in the wet.

I bought these tires based upon the rating they received from Consumer Reports Magazine and my own personal experience with Michelin tires. The tires give a smooth, quiet, and comfortable ride on my 2006 Toyota Avalon. They are replacing a set of Michelin Premier All Season tires.

I purchased a set of these to replace a set of General AltMAX RT 43's. Boy, what a world of difference. Much quieter, and smoother ride. Handeling was noticeably quicker response. These tires really hug the road. Have driven on multiple road surfaces and they grip well in all terrain.
