Great tire, absolutely 0 smooth-road noise, but I notice a reactionary thump over a certain type of road ripple, most likely due to the fact that the suspension was tuned for the Yokohamas that my van was designed with. I chose Michelin for their legendary safety record and I also lucked in to a tire with a long tread life. The original Avid tires had worn to a concerning tread depth at only 56 000 KM.

I replaced Goodyear tires on my wife’s Acura TLX with a set of Michelin Defender2’s. I also replaced the OE Firestone tires on my mother in law’s Jeep Compass with the Michelin Defender2 tires. My wife and Mother in law immediately told me that their vehicles ride way better, handles better, and it is more quiet in their vehicles. As for the design, I love the way Michele tires look on almost all vehicles. All I can say about the construction and materials is that the tires appear to be made well. I am 53 years old and have never had a Michelin tire let me down. So I trust Michelin enough to use their tires on my family’s vehicles. I bought a set of 4 to replace nearly 6 year old tires that were constantly losing air. I've using them for 3 months. At first they seemed overly responsive to the steering wheel, but I have adapted well to this, I think. I also drive an old Nissan pickup and the contrast is marked. The review I read in a national consumer journal was correct.

I would not drive my car without Michelin Tires (and I have two Cars) since I purchased the car new in 2006. I have all ways purchased the best tire they make for my cars and have had nothing but the best ride and performance I could get from tires. Never had a tire that was defective and I have outstanding mileage performance from the Michelin Brand.

Great tires that grip better than any All Season I’ve ever owned. Wet (rain) or dry pavement, these tires hug the road like the best of them. I’d give them 5 stars, except I find them to be a little louder past 70km/h than I’d like… they have a slight buzz depending on the speed at which you’re rolling which gets higher pitched and louder the faster you go. I stalled on a 2021 Mazda CX-5.

Made the mistake of purchasing these for my Lexus LS430. it feels like Im riding on sponges, I cannot feel the road and cornering is terrible, it feels like the car is sliding or swaying. I am going to call the tire shop to let them know i cant handle this and what can we do. hopefully if they dont do something michelin will.

I love the performance of my tires. Have been buying michelin for years and will not change. Matter of fact I put these on my 2017 honda in April and got a new honda in june. I insisted they switch the tires off the new vehicle and put my michelins on it which they did

I love the defender tire Michelin. The tires gripped the road really well . There was a car on a busy road and I didn’t see it right away and had to use the brakes fast. The tire really stopped quick. I was glad we had a brand new set of Michelin’s on a car.

When I drove away from the shop that installed my new Michelins, I was impressed by how quiet my car became. Handling was smooth and easy compared to my old tires. They look great on my car and I'm looking forward to years of comfortable driving on them !!!!
