This is the real gouda cheese , not like the "gouda" named made in Wisconsin cheese that leaves a bitter after taste in your mouth. Its buttery and will last for a while in the fridge in an unopened package , once opened don't store it in a closed zip lock bag or the cheese will start to "sweat" and it'll make the cheese go bad very quickly and mold. The best way to keep it if you dont eat it fast enough is wrap it in paper so it can breath a little without it drying out, and moisture wont become a problem.
