Great snow traction

I am 22,000 miles into my second set of 285x16 Dura-trac tires on my 2006 Avalanche 2500. They are great riding and handling tires. I have just returned from a 2,000 mile trip to Telluride Colorado. We got caught in an early season snow storm at Lizard Head Pass. I was pulling a 7,000 lb. trailer in heavy snow over ice. I had great traction and kept on going as the 18 wheelers with chains gave it up and stopped. I was the only vehicle that was not having a lot of trouble with the snow and ice. I got close to 50,000 miles out of my first set and now have Dura-Trac tires on three of my vehicles. I will note that the first 100 miles on the 2500 Avalanche Dura-Tracs the handling was really strange and the first 500 miles on the lighter SUVs were wild but when you get past that they are great tires.

Great Traction for seasonal conditions

The wet road traction isn't as good as stock goodyear wrangler AT's. But off road, sand, snow, mud they perform excellent. They are pretty quiet for the amount of tread they have. They sing a little on fresh or real smooth roads. Overall I really like these tires.

Great all around tire!

I put the Duratracs on my 2011 F150 FX4 at 91k miles. I now have 122k miles and still have have the tread left! I bought them in Tennessee and drove them in the rain for most of a year. They handled the wet roads great! Recently moved to Colorado and they held up great in the FEET of snow we recieved last winter. I was able to keep traction 95% of the time (ice patches were the other 5%). They hold up great to mild off-roadingin the mountains. No chunking or abnormal wear. They also did well towing a 5000lb trailer cross country. I rotate them every 5k miles with every oil change.after 30k miles they are still quiet! Only change I would make is to have a thicker sidewall for off roading and towing but I'll just get the lt rated ones next.

Beefy, Big and Rugged

I was looking for a rugged tire to dress up my pickup that would give me top notch winter traction and maintain good ride quality. I worked with Modern Tire in Newington and they recommended these Duratracs by Goodyear and they fit the bill 100%. I love how they look, handle and give me confidence in the snow. Oh, and Modern Tire was awesome to deal with--highly recommend them.

Great online experience and ease of scheduling.

Bought these tires for a Ford Raptor. I can honestly say these tires are one of the best I've ever driven on for any vehicle. The breaking on snow/ice was incredible. And for a pick-up truck, the ride and handling is equally phenomenal. Great job Goodyear!

Best aggressive truck tire I've ever had

I use to be a BFGoodrich all terrain guy. I'm now finishing up with my 2nd set of Goodyear duratrac's. I'm definitely buying another set this fall. My first set of duratrac's lasted 70,000 mi. I've got 63,000 miles on the set I'm currently running with 5-6/32" tread remaining. Tire rotation is absolutely crucial to make these tires wear evenly. If you don't rotate them every 5,000 mi the will start to cup and get noisy.

Very happy with one exception...

I am very happy with the look, ride, and feel of these tires. My truck is lifted 6" and I got these tires in 315/75r16. Minimal road noise with decent mileage for the size of my tires and truck. The only negative is that I have found these tires wearing a little more quickly than I would have liked especially since I have only put less than 3,000 miles on them.

great looking, good handling, low noise

Ive had these tires for a couple of months and they handle very smoothly for all terrain aggressive tread tires. Ive done some mild offroading and lots of city and highway driving and so far im very pleased with them. The road noise is minimal for such a knobby tread and i look forward to more moderate offroading. They handle and steer just fine and id recommend them to anyone looking for a great looking knobby city/highway/offroad combo tire.

Love these tires!

Was looking at a comparable Toyo product and ended up buying these. Saved a bunch of money and they are an outstanding tire. They out perform any tire I have had in the past and are wearing better too. Getting ready to buy a second set for another vehicle. Keep it up Goodyear, great tire, great price!

Nice shoes for my workhorse

129Q (load range 4080#) on my 2005 F-350 4x4 CC LWB SRW give a good safety margin for some heavy loads the truck totes. The previous tire load range of 3640# were sometimes overloaded. I bought 5 tires, rotating all tires at +/-7,000 miles. Tread is now at +/- 7/16" after 44,000 miles. The summer of 2020 I put 10,500 mi. in 77 days on these Dura-Tracks while working on Calif. wildfires with much of that on mountain roads where more miles were accumulated on the curves than the straightaways. Example of some loads were a pallet of bottled water, 2 pallets of 20# bags of ice. These are my 3rd set of Dura-Track tires over several years. I'm getting ready to order a new set of 4 129Q again.
