I love them

So first off reading the reviews before I bought them I noticed all the verified purchaser love them and there are only a few bad reviews I've seen from people with ignorant complaints honestly one said the picture looked different than they're rims so they didn't like it not helpful allot of rims are different. And others said after they had it put on they felt a shaking I'm a certified mechanic that's a bad balanced tire on the machine unless you have a broken control arm and the reviewer went on to say that the shop tried to balance again and it was better but not great so the shop recommended they get a different tire .. (dead giveaway). #madesomemoneyfromyou. I love these tire I had perreli p4 on mine before and the Goodyear Max life are way better

Tire exceeding expectations

These tires have been fantastic so far! They ride quiet, handle superbly in all weather, and look great. I look forward to these lasting the warranty miles of 85k!! Well worth the cost of these tires. These are on a hybrid car and they dont change fuel mileage either.

Car Glides

A very smooth ride. My 2013 Volt seems to glide on the road. Also, quieter and improved cornering traction over last tires: Kelly Edges. Firm, but not hard ride. Not as soft as the comfort tread. Main reason for purchase: Volt is heavy, w/ instantaneous, high torque elec. power. Only 30k on last set. If I get 50k, I'll be impressed and buy another set.

Great Tires

Put these tires on my Jeep and just love them, smooth quiet ride. The ones that came with the Jeep were awful. They were so noisy it felt like you had to yell to talk to someone. I haven't had them long enough to see how they will do in the winter but I have been and Goodyear tire fan since the 80's so I am sure they will be excellent! Great quality products.

Nice Ride

These tires ride and handle wonderfully. They have been very good in rain also. I haven't been in any snow yet so I can't give an opinion on that. The only negative thing I can say about these tires are they a horribly loud! I really thought I had a wheel bearing going bad. I had it checked and it's the tires! These brand new tires roar on the road worse than the worn out pieces of Chinese junk tires that were on there when I bought the car. Ride and comfort are great but be ready to crank up your radio.

Quieter but bumpier than my former tires.

I wanted a tire that would not only reduce road noise but also add more comfort to the ride. It did lower the road noise but the ride is bumpier. I have not had the opportunity to drive in snow or rain so can't rate that. I am disappointed in the ride quality.

Pros and cons

235/40 R18. I have a Focus ST, I'm used to summer tires and a more sporty feel. This tire is nice and quiet, that's the best part. Bumps are absorbed better than a summer tires, wet traction is great. The biggest let down is under extreme braking or turning. I used to be able to stomp on the brake and never get a squeal, and the rigidity has been softened as well on this tire. Dry performance is nothing compared to a good/decent summer tire, but these are quieter and more comfortable. I was drawn in by the treadwear rating. These will do a lot of highway miles without blinking, but fall short on dry traction and let go much sooner. But that's to be expected for such a long lasting tire. Overall I wanted a quieter longer lasting highway tire, and that's exactly what I got. Only about 3000 miles on these so far.

Average tires

These tires have great traction and I was happy with them on wet roads. The ride was good but not as good as my wife's Goodyear Comfortread Touring tires. Since they are new, I have yet to drive them in snow. On the downside, they are loud. I can definitely hear them and on the interstate the noise is very noticeable. It is the noise level that causes me to rate them lower than I would have.

If you want a sporty tire this is not it

I put Goodyear Maxlife on my 2016 Honda Civic bc the Assurance Tripletreads that were the best tires I've ever had for all around performance and traction in all weather were discontinued and Goodyear doesn't yet have the equivalent Weathermax available, which was very frustrating. The Maxlife have too soft a sidewall for confident cornering and seem to float on the highway too much. I was not satisfied and didn't keep them long enough to feel ot in the snow.

They make my car waste too much gas!!

This tires are not bad they ride well, not great (you feel every little thing on the road), but when it comes to fuel economy stay away from this tires they waste too much gas, my car bf this tires, had firestone on and my gas consumption was around 25.1 miles per gallon in the city & 28.5 highway, average driving speed limit never racing, because i wanted to see what gas mileage i could get out of them well it went down to 23.2 miles per gallon in the city & 26.5 on highway, so now i'm losing 1.9 miles per gallon in the city and 2 miles per gallon on highway because of this tires, so i don't recommend then if fuel economy is what you aiming for, also the riding is not smooth it feels stiff and hard so you kind of feel every little thing on the road. So this review of the tires is base on gas millage & ride comfort and noise because they do get a bit noisy, everything else i guess is fine for now will see how good are they when it comes to the 85K miles tread life.
