- 5 out of 5 stars review1/11/2022Wanting to get away from the noisy Continentals that came with my VW Passat GT, I found the CrossClimate 2 would provide the quiet, safe, and wet ratings that I needed. I only changed two before my road trip (NC to Texas end of Aug 2021) and immediately noticed reduce noise and had better handling. In New Orleans, I was there just as the hurricane was coming bringing in heavy rain. The CrossClimate 2 handled great even in heavy downpours. Last week, I picked up two more tires.. Wow! the mechanical resonance from replacing the two continentals dropped the road noise another 10 decibels and the handling only got better. I can't stop saying great things about these tires. Have been telling all my friends this is the next tire t...
Best Tires Ever
ChristianOriginally posted onmichelinman.comConsumerCareThanks so much for the awesome feedback, Christian. We appreciate you! - 2 out of 5 stars review11/13/2021I bought these tires Mar 30 2021 .My first set of directional tires and not impressed.I immediately noticed a vibration.Decided to give them a week ,since there were new. They rebalanced and drove them another week before going back to bell tire. These tires on average 3- 5oz of weights which is a lot. The longest measurement of weight was 5 inches. So this is my 3 rd trip back and this time they a ( road force test) ,something I haven't heard of.This machine manipulates the sidewall of the tire, then rebalance. They end up with about the same amount of weights. So I leave and they did this procedure one more . Was told they are, whats considered acceptable limits with minimum vibration. So they are ok for now, I quess. My old worn out pilots...

She’s a daily driver on the busy 401 Toronto highway to and from work. Their all weather capabilities and reliability were already proven over the past couple of years on my 2013 Volvo XC90. This vehicle is now on its third set of Michelin tires.
All weather capabilities and reliability!
Nora72Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/7/2024If you are a smooth driver, not pushing your car hard and drive carefully in winter conditions this is the best tire for you. Great performance on wet, slushy, snowy roads. Great summer performance in Toronto weather. Very comfy with little road noise. Used on both of our cars Subaru Legacy and Chevrolet Trax without any issue.
Best All Year Round Tire
Jann KOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 1 out of 5 stars review2/5/2024Set of 4 tires purchased and installed at designated location. These tires are noisy and becomes nosier as the speed increased. Michelin had me to go to designated tire installer for Michelin's brand. It was cited, there was a ball bearing problem or axle problem. The noise is inside the car cabin, no outside noise, shaking of wheel, etc. per the diagnostic today. The noise becomes louder as speed increase. The vehicle is not experiencing the sounds omitted from either of the diagnostic assumptions from the servicer today to give credence to their assumption. BUNCH OF HOGWASH! Vehicle has had maintenance intervals as needed at dealership. Once again, cabin ride is noisy from the tires - no squelching or other sounds indicated of the prob...
VERY NOISY TIRES!

Great tires all weathere tried and true
Florimundo De AlmeidaOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/25/2022I bought these tires for my VW Passat. I have ave a steep driveway. In the winter it was a real problem for my Hankook all season tires. When I saw the tread pattern on these tires it made me think of the treads on a snowmobile. I took a shot on them. I couldn’t be happier. These tires rip up my driveway with ease. They also have incredible grip going down the snowy driveway. These tires are the best tires I’ve ever had. Thanks Michelin!
Great grip
Happy gripOriginally posted onmichelinman.comConsumer CareHappy grip, thanks for sharing the love! - 5 out of 5 stars review9/6/2020Wanted to replace OEM Bridgestone on 2020 Lexus RX350 after the first week but decided to wait 8 months for CrossClimate2 to become available. It was worth the wait, my Lexus now rides like luxury vehicle it is. Ride is much smoother, noticeably quieter and overall more solid feel when making left/right turns. Handles very well and provides confident feeling on very wet roads, hoping for same in the winter. Great tire!
Luxury ride
ZimOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 1 out of 5 stars review2/9/2025Bought these as an alternative to snow tires since the reviews said they were good in the snow. They are absolute garbage in the snow. I would say the same as an all season and now I need to go buy snows as I don’t feel safe driving in the snow with them. Otherwise happy in other conditions but being in Canada, I really wanted them to be snow worthy.
NOT GOOD IN THE SNOW!
Canadian driverOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/14/2022I purchased these tires for our car prior to heading up towards Kamloops last November replacing our well used set of Michelin premiers. First thing I noticed was the feel of the ribs of the tread design in the steering wheel. These have performed well in snow and rain so far. Tread wear is good so far (expect to get much less with an all weather). No issues with breaking or cornering but we don’t have a fast car. 2011 Infiniti G25x
Great all around tire!
Jerry4789Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 3 out of 5 stars review6/9/2022The tires perform very well and I really like them at higher speeds around 60k to 100k but they are a little noisy at lower speeds around 40k when turning. I am going to have a wheel alignment to see if that will help I don't like the warranty requirements because although it is easy for me to rotate my own tire I will have to pay a shop to do it so I have proof they have been rotated
A little noisy, don't like warranty requirements.
P-ManOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/26/2022Have these on a 2019 Cadillac XT5 and love them! Only drove in light snow so far and they worked great. Amazing traction and breaking. In the rain, my SUV is like a tank. Goes through large puddles and standing water without any pull to one side or another. GReat ride on the highway. Quiet tires. Highly recommend.
Wow, love these tires!!!
TRMJROriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/24/2022One year Review- Put a set on both my Lexus LS430 and RX330 in September 21'. Now added approximately 10K miles to each vehicle. Handling tightened up on both vehicles, getting a little better milage and traction is incredible. But the most noticeable change was the noise. I have used most models of Michelin tires over the years and they all start out very smooth and quiet but get noisier within a few thousand miles. These CF2's have stayed really quiet and smooth. and highly recommend. About to add a set to a 4x2 F-150. Would like to see a review from someone who has done so.
VERY HAPPY with Performance
DEHOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/15/2022I just have to say these are the best tires I have ever purchased. It truly improved the ride in my Tesla, soooo smooth and I luv the tread pattern.. I have highly recommended this tire to my fellow Tesla drivers and hope I have made a sale or two your way.
Tesla new tirrd
SandraOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/5/2022I have had the tires for 2 months, and until this week's ice/snow storm here in Cincinnati I thought these tires were very good. Now I believe they are fantastic. Better than studded tires of long ago. They go, they stop, and on packed snow/slush/ice they track straight. Quiet on dry pavement. Soft ride, but great traction. Only negative is the distinctive thread pattern let's my co workers know where I have been playing around in the snow. Especially like the installation at work capability.
Can't believe these tires
HappyCamperOriginally posted onmichelinman.comConsumer CareHappyCamper, thanks so much for the awesome feedback! We appreciate you! - 5 out of 5 stars review1/2/2025I asked Microsoft Co-Pilot what tires I should get to replace the OEM Energy Savers on my 2019 Chevy Bolt Premier and the first recommendation was the CrossClimate 2's. I checked out the references it mentioned and sounded like these were the tires to buy. About 1500 miles in on them and I can't be happier with their performance. Super grippy in the wet!!!
Luv these tires!
ckhinidOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 3 out of 5 stars review10/23/2021Drove 17,000 miles cross country on these tires. They are good for paved roads, but the moment you hit any sort of gravel drivway, dirt road to campground or sandy path they REALLY suck. My car is not an offroad vehicle but on occasion we would have to take a gravel road or drive to an established campsite on dirt or sand these tires have horrible traction. The whole car shifts side to side when breaking. I have not used these in the snow but I don't plan to as they cannot even handle a little sand in the street.
Great onroad - horrible offroad.

Seems virtually identical compared to the OEM Cont. Cross Contacts on my '19 Acura MDX. Overall 23-24mpg in Montana. Keep in mind lots of mountains and 75-85 mph. I've had tires on MDX's with slightly better dry performance, but not a deal breaker. The CrossClimate2 seems to be a super 3 peak tire for all seasons.
No or tiny mileage issues
MT guyOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/11/2021Just had these tires put on my 2022 Airstream Atlas as i was going do some driving in the snow. Just drove from South Carolina to Northern Michigan with the last 4 hours in a blizzard. Cant say enough about how the tires performed....Airstream should make them standard
Awesome on the Airstream Atlas
UP BillOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/19/2025I bought the Michelin tires because I trust that I will be safe and have a comfortable ride. I have had Michelin tires on my last 3 Vehicles and been very satisfied in winter and summer and great traction in the snow. I would recommend them to anyone.
Great tires
