This used to be our go to ground turkey, but lately something has changed and the texture of the meat has become sticky and it seems to be tougher after you cook it.

The meat is to mushy it falls apart when trying to put in baggies to freeze. I wish the meat had more consistency. Sams please bring Jennie-O to the Woodbridge Va location.

I never eat ground turkey but it was on sale and I recently tried turkey tacos from a friend, which I surprisingly enjoyed. Made turkey meatballs and gravy with them and family enjoyed but didn’t fool anyone into thinking it was beef.

Best price for the meat is at Sam's. My family and I love turkey burger and I often complained about the price of it. At the start of the pandemic it was a hard to keep it on the shelves, but that seems to have worked itself out with time.

I use this instead of beef or with beef to lighten & make recipes easier to digest, family loves it. we love turkey burgers,too. very glad Sam's club carries it-wish they would also carry the dark meat version!

Once seasoned the meat was moist and flavorful. I would suggest being careful not to overcook the meat. It took cooking both sides of the package to feed 6 people.

This turkey has a good flavor, and stays tender in long cooked chili. Every now and then there is a little gristle, but far less than any other brand I have tried.

I love to eat this, however it went from $15.88 to over $18. In one week. There is no reason for this. Also, it’s 2 quantity of 2.5lbs each. Normal family packs in Walmart & Hannaford are 3lbs each. So not a huge savings.

We love the Shady Brook ground turkey for our dogs we make it in a 10 quart crockpot we mix other quality Sam’s club ingredients it is very healthy!!!!

The price used to be reasonable, used to be $16, now the price shot up to $23.
