Bought these for my Mercedes S550 4matic at 80,000 miles Today at 104,000 am showing cords through 2 front tires Rotated less than a month ago and no mention of any issues. AS3 not 4 Seems like dramatic sudden failure for no apparent reason. Dealer tells me Michelin is not what they used to be as far as handling warranty issues and I will likely eat the full cost of a new set How come my rear tires did not show this wear since they had been on the front prior to this rotation?

I have purchased two separate sets of All Season 4 Tires for two of my higher performance vehicles. Being Audi's they are AWD and quite heavy, these cars are known for understeer and when pushed hard you can feel the car push. Softer walled tires really feel floaty on the road in aggressive driving. Not only do these tires perform exceptionally well in regards to grip (accelerating and decelerating) their lateral grip is most impressive. These tires allow my cars to handle like they are on rails, regardless of the temperature. Being AA for traction and A for temperature they do exceptionally well when dedicated summer tires become hard and dangerous.

I purchased Top of The Line Tires $$$ Expecting Top Quality & Performance. (You Get What You Pay For) As for the performance I WAS very happy with the stopping, road handling (in all weather conditions) & an over all smooth quiet ride. However the Quality / Tread Life is absolutely horrible! 3 years and only 13,000 miles later and I NEED NEW TIRES ALREADY!!! Completely UNACCEPTABLE!

I purchased 4 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 255/45ZR20 (105Y) XL I like the tires however the date code on the tires were: 1 tire in 2017 2 tires 2018 1 tire 2019 I’m very disappointed in how old these tires are coming from Tire Rack! I’m happy with the ride. Lee was very helpful when ordering.

I put these tires on my 2017 VW GTI SE as a replacement for the Pilot Sport AS3+ that I had on there for the past couple of years. I loved the AS3+, the car had really great grip and it handled like it was on rails. The steering feel and turn in was very sharp and there was almost no lean in corners. The AS4 has somewhat better ride quality than the AS3+ and great grip but the sharp cornering feel and confidence in handling curves isn't there as with the AS4. It feels more like a grand touring tire with a grippier compound whereas the AS3+ feels more like a performance tire with the ability to be used in cold weather and light snow.

I just got a set of All Season 4s after running the previous set since 2020. Before replacing them, I took the old set to the track, and even below 2/32" tread depth, they provided remarkable grip and performance.​ The new tires feel outstanding. They're somewhat quieter— even though I never noticed that the previous set became slightly noisier as they wore, it was never intrusive. I have an Audi SQ5 2023. I switched from my OEM Pirelli P Zero. I can report that the new Michelin are way louder above 60 MPH. They don’t corner as well. They are good under braking. I will report back when I have more miles. For the cost I wish I had gone to the Pirelli, the road noise is disappointing and unfortunately I do a lot of highway miles.

I have the cup tires on my GT3, the Ice tires on my mazdaspeed6. And so I bought these for my '18 Model S 100D. They replaced the "quiet" Goodyears OEM at 23,500 miles. After installing the Pilot Sports, I immediately went to the Tesla Service Center in St. Bruno , Quebec for a wheel alignment. I have never touched a curb with the wheels but the car needed an alignment. At this point they are about as quiet as the goodyears. They seem to handle bettter too, but the wheel alignment helped with that too. I have never had a bad experience with Michelins. Even though I purchased them last Winter I just had them installed.

These tires are a huge upgrade for me. Comfort, handling and traction are all greatly improved. It’s the one repair I’ve made to my car that I can feel an immediate difference with. They seem durable so far, only been a week and two days, but I have noticed they aren’t all that quiet. That could be do to the materials used to build my vehicle too though.
