Very nice umbrella

Easy to use

I've owned two of these umbrellas previously that was sturdy with nice, thick sunbrella fabric. I wanted one more to add to my deck to go with one purchased two years ago. The poles are different and sadly, so is the fabric. I don't just mean the colors were different from sun fading.'I mean the fabric on the new ordered one was much thinner and more see through compared with the thick beautiful one I already owned. I never could get the two poles to come together to even get the umbrella up. They wouldn't fit together at all. I'm disappointed. I hope Sams decides to go back to the previous manufacturer and bring back the quality umbrella they once sold, because this one is no where near as nice the the umbrella they used to sell a few years ago.

We bought three of these at the end of summer last year. Two of the three have snapped at the bottom and the third one is close. We bought them for our tanning ledge in the pool and we took them out in the winter. We have had the pool open three weeks and two of them have snapped. The Sunbrella fabric has held up well but the post construction has been such a disappointment and complete waste of money.

I replaced two similar umbrellas that I bought from Sams 5 years or so ago. The vents at the top allowed air to blow through on them. These two new ones that I bought this year do not allow the breeze to blow through them. Today a puff of wind lifted one of the umbrellas completely out of its base and about 10 foot into the air and you could see that air was not passing through the vents. They do not allow air to escape through the vents!

I usually don't write reviews like this but , I have to agree with the other reviewers who say the pole isn't as good as the umbrella material. This is our second one to order. I do think it's our responsibility to bring it in out of the wind , but it takes so little wind to damage it, that if you took it down every time the wind blows, it would never be up. Please upgrade the pole.

Metal is weak. Light wind broke the metal rod in half. Don't waste your money. I've had it less than a month.

I bought 5 of these umbrellas. They have been super until the rope inside breaks. There is no way to fix it.

Easy to install, but the fabric is like a really bad table cloth, blows all over the place & so thin you can just about see right though it.

It's a shame to buy an umbrella and spend a pile of money only to find a mist sprays you from rain coming through. Unfortunately, I bought two of them with no expectation of this from Sam's.
