We've had these for 20,000 miles, and the loss of tread is surprising, sort of amazing. No longer suitable for next winter when it snows 2 inches. Otherwise, a good all-round tire. Great gas mileage, good handling, not too noisy, stops well. Would like the same tire, but getting 40,000 miles out of them for all four seasons.

I bought these tires a year ago. What a difference. They feel solid on the road, grip the highway and hug the turns. They are great in the snow and on ice, they are all season.I have never gotten stuck with them and I only have front wheel drive. I have had Michelins before. I would definitely recommend this tires. I have been using the Primacy for 14 years or more. I like Michelin tires and have been buying them for 20 plus years. I didn't like that the dealer only offered me the Primacy so I bought the Defender TH online and had them delivered to the dealer. As soon as I pulled out of the parking lot, I could feel the difference. The car felt surefooted and the handling was incredibly smooth and quick. The real test will be this winter and how long they hold up. I usually change my tires every 50,000 miles. I'd like to be able to keep them longer.

I purchase this tire shortly after I bought my used Saturn Vue. I had BF GOODRICH tires that delivered very poor wet traction. I hated doing it and resisted because the BFG's had only about 6000 miles wear on them. I did not expect the amount of difference these new tires made both wet traction and snow/ice. BFG's are a good grade tires but Michelin Defender T/H is exceptional for the money.

I bought these in February 2023, replacing a set of Premiere A/S,. I get there will be some handling and ride adjustment . The A/S was fabulous until they got down to 3mls. Even though they only lasted 42000 mile, I would have bought another set, I thought they were that good. The Defenders are like driving offroad tires. Every inperfection on the road surface is felt. I have had vibration thru the steering wheel and rough ride feel throughout the cabin. At just under 3000mi, I had my mechanic go over the tires and the entire front end. He rotated and rebalanced all four tires since there was nothing else he could find. This caused a reduction in the vibration but the ride is incredibly hard. I could have saved a $100/tire and just bought a private brand label for this ride. Clearly I do not recommend these tires

Bought these tires because I read that they provide a comfortable and quiet ride, and because Michelin has a good reputation. Unfortunately these tires have been the opposite of comfortable. The ride is very rough, even when I'm on what seem to be flat roads. Not sure if mine are defective or not but these tires have turned driving from a fun experience to something I really don't enjoy.

I work at an automotive shop and my mother need a new tires on her Ford fusion I was looking around for the best deal and the best quality found a good deal on a set of Michelin’s for my mother I will just put this into perspective my mom doesn’t know anything about cars the very first text message I got was I can’t believe how great these tires fill the tires are fantastic they’re doing everything you’re supposed to highly recommend buying except for my vehicle with my tires run out

I had the Defender tire and after 40000 mi I replaced them with the Defender t+h. the handling at speed is not the same. My car is not as stable as it was before. The best way to describe it is that the car floats. When changing lanes or just going down the freeway. The car does not feel stable as it wants to follow road groves and the back end sways when I change lanes. It’s as if the side wall is not the same. I have 205 r 55 16 s on the car and it’s as if I have 205 r 65 16 on the car. As for the rest of the tire I cannot tell you as I have only put 800 mi on a road trip and did not have to drive in rain or have a panicked stop. But I will be replacing the tires. This issue is not on jut my car my sister has them on her car at the same time as me in a different state. Same thing for her.

We replaced the Original Equipment Michelin Tires on my 2013 Camry with Michelin Defender T+H BSW Tires. These are providing good traction, a quite ride and comfort. We have equipped our cars with Michelin Tires for many years and have always gotten more than expected.

I had the same tires for over 10 years and were fantastic,so when I decided to get new ones I chose the same ones. Not sure if the tires are faulty or they were installed incorrectly but they are WAY OUT OF BALANCE..I went back and had them rebalance them ( after some convincing) and there are still bad..I don’t really want to return to the same shop but don’t know what to do.
