Thank you for the feedback, Brady23, and we’re sorry you find the set difficult to use. Here are a few tips on usage for the set: Lift off the top wooden lid to pour in your chosen spice. Close the lid then twist the knob to grind out your spice. To adjust the coarseness, turn the plastic knob at the bottom of the mill clockwise for fine grinding and counterclockwise for larger granules. Bad Ergonomics

I had no issues with these grinders breaking, but they are definitely fashion over function. The top of the grinder where you "grip and twist" has such a large diameter that it is so uncomfortable to use. It's impractical for cooking, but maybe better suited as table decor.
