This is a defective set. No instructions on how to use and I finally figured out these were defective. Horrible design, plus did not have the salt and pepper in them. Sam’s was kind enough to refund my money without requiring me to return. Save your time and money and don’t purchase.

Janky - They look great but do not last. The wood is pretty but overly large, the top piece that you spin to grind things are loose and will constantly slip off the base if lifted by the top half, and the inside of the grinders isn't well finished and you'll likely get wood bits mixed in with your salt/pepper (not a big issue but worth mentioning). I'd say pass on these unless you're in a pinch and don't mind the high probability of needing to return them later.

I was so excited to get the set today. They look great. Really tall with a solid base that does not tip over. Then I tried to grind some pepper. Epic fail! One part does not work at all. The male grinder only locks closed or spins, making it impossible to keep a consistent grind. Even at the largest grind, I was not getting much out except for pepper dust.

I bought these in October 2023 and today I was using them and the pepper shaker fell apart.

I purchased these in November 2023. I love how they look. If they are picked up incorrectly they will spill. Beautiful product just not useful

Bought a set of both colors, and both are beautiful. Well made and can't beat the price.

Second time using it broke.

Looks good and feels sturdy but only if o can manage to open them. No instructions were included in the box on how to open them.
