I wish I had known the gift cards were paper certificates not gift cards. Couldn't give a paper certificates for Christmas present so has to buy something else for my son-in-law. I was very disappointed!

Pasta House an old favorite restaurant was introduced to me in 1973 while traveling to Okinawa. I stopped in St Louis to visit my Uncle’s family and they took me to Pasta House.  My mother was  a Hoboken italian who served us spaghetti and meatballs and Italian sausage regularly.  Pasta House spaghetti was as good as my mom’s.  So for the next 50 years I have been a pasta house favorite even though they have gone thru many management changes in their restaurants and at times the quality has been a challenge for some owners. I continue to be a fan of the Edwardsville Pasta House after many of my favorite places closed.  One big disappointment on my last visit I tried to order a side of Italian sausage and none was available, which in my mind is not the best thing for an Italian restaurant to cut out.  Maybe that’s why they are selling gift cards for $40 for a $50 gift card which is a good deal for their pasta house salad and pasta dishes!
