These controllers really have gotten pricier from generation to generation and a lot more sophisticated, maybe unnecessarily so. Having to update the controller with the console this gen seems like asking a bit much. But when a console is designed for artistic aesthetics more than practical function, what can you expect. I'm not really sure the controllers are any better made, but with each generation Sony's controllers have a little more heft to them. I know kids seem to love the new tactile triggers. But I just regard the feature as a battery waster and turn it off, like the vibration function. It doesn't seem to add anything of value in either realism or gaming enhancement, unless the game unnecessarily limits vibration as the only clue prompt or something, rather than an audible cue. If only Sony would focus less on gimmicks and more on quality, their controllers might not need replacing as often. Or they need to make a more bare-boned version without all the unnecessary fluff that's all too often inconsistently used by developers anyway, if used at all. That said PS5 controller sticks seem to hold up a little longer than the PS4 did. Or maybe my nephews just aren't as hard on them as they used to be. Our white controller that came with the console started sticking or free-walking a little after 6 months. I found a few tricks to fixing it online, but wanted another backup just in case it gets worse. And Black Friday is the only time to buy a PS5 controller, if you can wait. The top of this blue controller has an almost pearlescent blue finish, which looks much nicer than previous generations or the black and white versions for the PS5. Of course, in a dark room, it doesn't really matter how nice it looks.

I got it. We’re very nice deal for my fiancé‘s birthday, and he was so beyond happy/excited to receive it brand new and its box. Nothing wrong with. It works perfectly fine. Nice and sealed up. Got it with no problems controller looks exactly like the photos same color and everything very beautiful. It’s perfect.

Managed to get in on a great Black Friday sale online. I’m one of those gamers that like to have two controllers so I always have one fully charged and ready to go. For the price you couldn’t do any better , especially for an officially licensed accessory. Buy with confidence if you are in the market for a durable, long lasting game controller!

It’s a nice dark grape purple color. It definitely isn’t as bright as it is in the picture shown. It’s darker and more dull. It’s still a very nice color just not what I was expecting. Luckily when I purchased it, it was not more $ than the black or white.

Upon opening of the package, I noticed the controller was much lighter than the 4 I own already. I then tried to pair it to my ps5 console with an official PlayStation charge cable. And my system kept telling me it was a DualShock controller and not a DualSense. I did not want to waste time so I immediately initiated a return.

But the controls are great ! At first it feels offbrand because the runner analog was made to wear out quickly the design is rubber not metal or plastic as it should be , these ps5 controllers are cheaper than the ps3 controllers but hey whatever it helps to get you to spend money for more gameplay like rust or dayz add me isouljatoy

very cute. My daughter is all into everything pink and when we opened it i didnt realize how the buttons would actually look. The clear pink parts on the buttons just make it exactly what she wanted very girly. If your kid or yourself like pink definatly buy. very happy with the controller

It would have been nice to pay a bit less for some standard white controllers, especially since I had to buy 2 at the same time. However, there were no standard ones in stock, so I had to pay extra just because these were camouflage even though I didn’t want camouflage.

Nice looking and it works well, as expected. I've only had it 3 days so, if anything changes, I'll update this review. I bought it as a replacement for the original controller, which I've had since the PS5s came out, and which had a malfunctioning shoulder button that I decided to replace instead of messing with fixing - I'll fix it one of these days when I have more time.

My controller along with 3 others still looks brand new but are useless because of the stick drift and it can't be repaired unless you send it in to Sony. Which cost $21 just to ship for warranty repair. No warranty or proof of purchase and it's not worth fixing.
